REN and The Heartless Devil

CHAPTER XXXVIII

Two days of sleepless night but we still found nothing. All of us needs even just an hour of rest for us to keep the search going. Even the GA and Black Death Mafia deployed search teams but to no avail.

"All of you needs to rest, you need your strength kung sakaling mapapalaban kayo" tita Gwen smiled weakly at us. Since Carson went missing we stayed in Clay's house to easily disseminate information, umuwi lang kami para kumuha ng damit.

Wala ang Black Scorpion, ngayon pa lang kasi ang dating nila from vacation with their families. I look at Clay and saw him looking at me too. His hair is a messed, nangingitim na din yung ilalim ng mga mata nya. He smiled at me kaya nginitian ko na din sya, alam kong sya ang masyadong apektado ngayon. I tried talking to him but my attempt always failed, Aubrey is all over him at hindi ako makalapit.

"Gabrielle among us you're the one who needs more rest, you didn't slept for two days" Grae's voice is soft but the authority is still there. Kahit ang mga tao dito ilag sa kanya, he looks scary kahit wala syang ginagawa. "Prince is right iha, matulog ka muna. Drake said you drived day and night mahanap lang si Carson" napatingin ako sa papa ni Clay, kung may nakakatakot dito kasunod kay Grae sya yun. Minsan lang sya magsalita, ngayon lang medyo mahaba yung sinabi nya.

"Babe samahan mo muna si Ren magpahinga ka din" yup official na sina Yuri and Brent simula nung party. Tumayo na si Yuri at hinawakan ang kamay ko "Tara na Gab." I just let her drag me to our room, I badly need to sleep kahit one hour lang. Tama si tita we need strength to save Carson. As soon as my back touch the bed, all of the stresses from the past days either emotional or physical come rushing to me, kaya I immediately close my eyes.

Nooooo! Napalikwas ako ng bangon ang sama ng panaginip ko. Someone died in my dream but the scene is not clear, pagtingin ko sa side table nanlaki ang mata ko. I slept for hours it's alreay 4 in the afternoon. " Yuri get up, it's afternoon already" bumangon naman sya kaagad. We fix the bed and fix ourselves bago lumabas ng bahay. My system is alarmed when only silence greeted us, nagmamadali akong bumaba.

"Where are they?" I ask impatiently sa katulong na nakita ko sa living room. "U-umalis na po ma'am" takot na sagot nya sa akin. Napabuga ako ng hangin and calm myself. "Saan daw sila pupunta?" malumanay na tanong ni Yuri dito. "Kay ma'am Carson po" nanlaki yung mata namin. "What? And they didn't even bother to wake us up" I whined annoyingly, putcha masusuntok ko talaga sila mamaya.

"K-kasi ma'am ayaw kayo ipagising ni sir Clay kailangan nyo daw po ng pahinga" naluluhang paliwanag nya sa akin. Damn that guy, I will surely kick his gut so hard after this. "Saan daw sila pupunta? At paano nila nalaman ang lugar?" Oo nga sino ang nagsabi sa kanila.

"May binigay pong papel si ma'am Aubrey kay sir Clay nakita nya daw po sa may gate kanina." I suddenly feel uneasy over something sobrang lakas ng kabog ng puso ko. " Where is that girl now?" I ask her through greeted teeth. If what I am thinking is right, she will taste the scariest death there is with my own hands. "Umalis po sya mga 30 minutes pagkatapos umalis nila sir" tinanguan ko na sya at lumabas na ng bahay sumunod naman sa akin si Yuri.

I drive like I'm on a race and my life is on the line if I lose. Yuri is few meters away from me, if you didn't know she can be a good driver too if the situation ask for it. Pauwi kami ngayon sa bahay for our weapons, I really have a bad feeling about this, about Aubrey. I park my bike and swiftly open our gate, I stop when I saw a small paper na nakaipit sa ilalim ng door. My hands are shaking holding it. "Ano yan Gab?" I didn't answer Yuri and open the paper quickly.
