CHAPTER LIV

It's been twelve days, twelve fucking days of not seeing Grae and not hearing his voice. Nakalabas nalang ako sa ospital at pumasok na sa school hindi ko pa din sya nakikita. I texted for like a hundred times already pero kahit blank message man lang wala akong nareceived. Hindi naman nakapatay yung phone nya, nag riring naman pag dinadial ko. But he is not answering it. My instinct was never wrong, ito na siguro yung naramdaman ko sa ospital the last time we talk. Sobrang unfair, just when I realized I am falling for him saka naman sya nawala.

"Yuri have you ask Brent about Grae?" we just finished our breakfast at naghahanda na kami ngayon papuntang school. Dark blood said nothing about his sudden disappearance. I was just hoping na baka may nasabi si Brent kay Yuri since she's his girlfriend.

"Oo, pero sabi nya wala daw syang alam. The last time he saw him was at the hospital" sagot nya sa akin. I know Yuri is telling me the truth but Brent maybe not. He would know, he is one of his personal reaper, his right hand and his friend. Hindi ko maiwasang mag-isip ng masama. His father is behind this I can feel it.

"Do you believe what he said?"

"Hindi, he is uneasy when we talk about it. Baka may dahilan sya Gab kung bakit hindi nya sinabi yung totoo." I just nodded at her and closed my eyes. I can perfectly understand if we can't see each other pero yung kahit isang reply wala akong narereceive? It's too much.

"Let's go" I'll understand him for now. Baka mayroon syang mabigat na dahilan why he is doing this. Bumiyahe na kami papuntang school at Ilang minutes lang nandito na kami sa gate.

"Hi Ren, morning" Brylle's smiling face greeted me first pagkahubad ko ng helmet. He is leaning against the wall few meters away from where I park.

"Morning, waiting for someone?" I asked not looking at him inayos ko pa kasi yung pagka park ng motor ko.

"Waiting for you" I faced him and raise my brow. This is the first time he waited for me here. "Don't give me that look, gusto lang kitang ihatid sa room mo." I just shrug my shoulders and started walking. Maya maya lang naramdaman kong tumabi sya sa akin.

"Any news about King?" he said few seconds later. Umiling lang ako bilang sagot, kasi wala naman talaga akong alam. I thought I am somehow important to him, pinaramdam nya sa akin yun. Pero sa nangyayari ngayon I don't know what to think anymore, he kept on ignoring my texts and calls.

"Okay lang yan, baka busy lang." I snorted. Busy? Ilang oras ba ang pagreply ng text. Kahit hi lang yung reply nya, okay na sa akin yun. I felt his arms on my shoulder. "Wag kana sumimangot, sige ka papangit ka nyan baka di na ako magka crush sayo" I caught him grinning at me.

"Baliw" I growled at him and smack his hand hard.
