CHAPTER XXII

I felt like waking up, kaya I slowly open my eyes blurry at first and I keep on blinking until my eyesight becomes clear and white ceiling greeted me first. The last thing I remember was that I got hit by that sniper guy, I thought it was the end of me.

Siguro nga totoo yung kasabihang matagal mamatay ang masamang damo and I know to myself that I am not the good guy here. I kill people and I'll still kill more, I will never give them the satisfaction of being my hunter it should be the other way around.

I felt so thirsty parang ang tagal kong natulog, i saw Clay sleeping on the side of my bed holding my hand. I tried to move my hand that he's holding but I can't parang wala pa akong energy. I move one finger first then the other one, maybe he felt it kaya bigla syang napabalikwas.

"Elle!" he's eyes grow wide tapos maya maya lang naluluha na sya. I didn't expect him to cry and hug me like he wouldn't want to let me go. "You s-cared me so fucking m-much. Don't you dare do that again okay?" he said while sobbing. This guy really, he makes me feel that familiar warmth that I'd never felt for a long time.

"What happened after I passed out yesterday?" I ask him while I'm wiping his tears. He pushed the button first to inform the doctors that I am already awake. "You mean five days ago?" Huh? Ganun ka tagal akong natulog. "Where is Yuri and Magi? Is everyone okay?" I ask him I don't care if I sound so impatient, so out of my character.

"They're find thanks for taking their backups down" he said at me smiling. "Nah! It's not just me Grae was also there" I told him sincerely. If not for him we couldn't have defeated those trashes.

The doctor came in, Clay step back as he check my vitals. " We will observe your condition for the next 24 hours, if no complications arise you can be discharge maybe a week or two." The doctor informed me and I just nod.

"Are you hungry?" Clay ask tapos umupo sya sa kama ko. "Water" sabi ko parang kulang kasi yung nainom ko kanina. He open a bottled water and give it to me. I look around the room, nasaan kaya sina Yuri bakit si Clay lang ang naiwan dito. "Yuri left about 30 minutes ago, she said she'll bring you some new clothes." Maybe he notice me while I'm scanning the room.

"Apples?" tumango nalang ako, I'm not that hungry but Clay keeps asking me if I want to eat anything. He's actions makes me think that maybe he has some hots for me, I wouldn't mine though, Clay is a good guy after all. If I'm not Ren maybe I am already one of his fan girls he is that attractive.

I was about to get some sliced apple but he didn't let me, instead gusto nya akong subuan.Gah! This is so awkward, isang Clayton Real doing something like feeding some sick chic which is me. "I can manage" I said to him nahihiya kasi ako. He creased his brows, " My hands are clean" of course I know your hands are clean. "C'mon Elle" kaya kinain ko nalang.

The door suddenly swung open, there stood Yuri, Magi and the gang will except Grae he is not here but I don't care as long as he's fine. They stood there for quite some time not moving, shock is registered on their faces. And I think I know why, seeing Clay sitting on my bed and feeding me apples is not a usual view for them. Two ice stone doing a little fiery show.

"What?" I ask them coldly kaya natauhan sila. " Gab! Oh my God" Yuri said running to me and hug me so tight. "My wound Yuri" gosh balak ba akong tsugiin ng isang to. " Sorry, masaya lang" she said scratching her head.
