San is 17 years old. He had just entered his senior year and he's a bit sad not to have ended up in the same class as his group of friends.
San thought this year was going to be deadly boring until a mysterious new student became his classroom neigh...
The rest of the school day passed normally. Wooyoung and San hadn't exchanged many words. As Jongho had suggested, Wooyoung probably needed some time to settle in so San had decided to let him come to him when he was ready. Unfortunately, in the following three days, the situation didn't change.
Wooyoung remained as distant as ever and San didn't know what to do anymore. He wasn't sure why but he really wanted to get closer to his new classmate. Was it Wooyoung's mysterious and unapproachable side that made San want to get to know him better? Or was it because San felt lonely in class, pushing him to seek closeness with Wooyoung? Probably a bit of both.
Thursday evening.
San was at home, lying on his couch scrolling through his phone. He lives alone in a small apartment not far from his high school. He'd moved here last year because his parents' house was over an hour away from school and he found it inconvenient to commute every day.
He was on Instagram when he suddenly wanted to look up Wooyoung's profile.
S - "Maybe I'll learn something about him and understand why he's so distant?"
He typed his name and quickly found his profile. Five published photos, San began to scroll through them.

S - "Oh no I'm gonna die, too cute! They look alike, Wooyoung has a little brother?"
San had gone through his classmate's posts. Thanks to these few photos, he felt like he knew Wooyoung a bit more and it made him feel happy. His profile paints a picture of a pretty sociable, funny, and cute guy. But then... why does he seem so cold and unapproachable? San lost his smile. This little investigation didn't help him understand.
S - "Ugh, I don't get that guy! I'm even more lost than before!! And it made me want to know him even more... Whatever, even if I come off as pushy I'll keep trying to get closer to him."
Before leaving the app, San hesitated for a moment.
S - "Should I follow his account...?"
S - "No, it's too much. And he probably won't follow mine so I'll feel silly."
