Thankfully, she was able to passed her examination despite of lack of review-and it was all thanks to her Professor namely, Teodomero Uzil.
"I've already listed the food you need to eat, baby. Don't disobey Mommy so you'll be pretty later hmm? I only wanted the best for you and I exactly knew what it is." Juzel placed a quick kiss on her cheeks before leaving to get ready for tonight's party, Juzel's birthday party.
Her body was trembling in relief. Now, she doesn't have to put all her guards up in case her Mom was watching her.
Kristel heave a deep sigh.
"Argh! This is fucking suffering!" She exclaimed as soon as an image of her favorite cake invaded her hazy mind. Humihikbing napaupo sa sahig si Kristel. "Kuya Hope, gusto ko ng Almond cake," she whines while letting her exhausted body lie on the cold floor.
"What are you doing down there? Sa sofa ka humiga, baka kabagin ka."
Kristel was already too tired to reply. Without bothering looking to know who spoke, Kristel snorted and just waved her hands in nonchalance as if she's pushing off the owner of that voice.
The man just clicked his tongue then excused himself and without much effort he carried the woman to the sofa to sit. Kristel was too shocked to even banter and was just looking at the man. Her weight is no joke but this man carried her with ease!
The woman was silent, making Teo to think that he put her into an inconvenient position, so he asked gently.
"Do you prefer to lie down? Or should I carry you to your room?"
"Huh?" Kristel cleared her throat. "No. I mean, you didn't have to carry me. Ang bigat ko kaya-"
"You've lost almost 7 kilograms or maybe 9 or 10? I'm not sure though, but one thing is for sure ... Your weight is not as far as a feather. You should eat a lot more, Kristel." The man said as if they've known each other for a long time.
For her, nothing changed. She's still as fat as before.
"Stop joking around. 'Not as far as a feather' huh?" She laughed horribly. That was the most lame joke she'd ever heard-and the most insulting one. "What are you doing here, anyway? Be thankful my Mom didn't see you-"
"I know she's already leaving today. I'm just here to get food." The man said.
Kristel glared at him. "Anong tingin mo sa bahay namin? Pantry? Wala ng libre ngayon, Professor."
She smirked when the man froze. Hmph! Anong akala mo kay Kuya Hope? Tumatae ng pera? Ha! Buti nga sa'yo-
"Is that enough to cover what I've eaten for the whole week? Please contact me kung kulang pa." Teo said before turning his back on the shocked woman.
Wala sa sariling natawa si Kristel. Her face was beating red in so much frustration! Her lips were trembling in embarrassment! Wanna know what that jerk did to her?
