He should be smiling. He should be celebrating or at least be happy that Kristel was now officially a grown up woman. But Teodomero couldn't grasp the reason why he should be.

He was standing at his newly made window inside his room, watching and admiring Kristel practiced her anticipated cotillion for her 18th birthday. But seeing her laugh and happily dancing with her escort, Callid's brother, he couldn't stop but be frustrated.
