His hands were always kept inside his pockets but it always found its way to open whenever he saw her. With his charming smile and unshed tears on eyes, his hands extended inviting the debutante to be hugged.

"Come to me, Chipmunk."

Teodomero had to drink a lot of strong caffeine not to lose in the battle of sleepiness. Thankfully, before his eyes could betray its own owner the woman he had been waiting for finally came. With her lavender lace off shoulder gown, the woman ran into his arms.

Well, he understood if Kristel forgot about their promise. Throwing off a large party was not easy to handle after all. But, she came.

His hands that were snaked around the woman's waist tightened. He buried his face on the shallow part of Kristel's neck. Nuzzling and sniffing her.

"Hmm," he groaned, "it smells so good."

The woman had to bit her own tongue not to let a single moan escaped from her mouth.

"S-Stop! Amoy pawis ako." Anas ng dalaga bago sinubukang kumawala sa pagkakayakap ng propesor, but Teo was naturally strong.

"Ayoko." Ungot nito. "Your smell fine, Chipmunk. Smell like love to me."

Did she hear it, right? O pinaglalaruan lang siya ng pandinig niya?

"Breathe, Chipmunk. Breathe."

He leveled their faces. Observing, Teo saw how shocked the woman was. Is it too much for her? He blew a loud breath before letting their foreheads slightly bumped into each other.

"Is it too much?" Teo asked and Kristel nodded stiffly, still with their foreheads touching. "Sorry, I think my words got ahead of my feelings. Well, doon din naman ang punta ng nararamdaman ko para sa'yo."

Kristel swore that her respiratory system completely forgot its own function. She was not breathing. Frozen. Dumbfounded. Nakatitig lang siya sa propesor, thinking where did he get such confidence. Her mouth opened but there were no words. Ano namang sasabihin niya?

"Thank you for coming, Chipmunk." Teodomero said.

Thankfully, words are now available in Kristel's mouth. "I promised. And I don't break promises, Professor."

Teo charmingly smiled at her. He slowly unleashed Kristel from his embrace—even though he still didn't want to—to present his gift to her.

"Open the closet. My gift's there."

Kristel looked at him. It was clear that she's doubting but nevertheless opened the closet just like what he told her.

Teodomero stayed behind Kristel. He was staring and admiring how elegant and gorgeous the woman is. Lavender suits her best. Every gown she tried suits her but he chose lavender. Actually, there is another gown that caught his attention but for some reason he doesn't want Kristel to wear it—a white lace gown—because she looked like a bride rather than a debutante.

"Wow. This..."

He smiled then help Kristel to get her gift. It was too big for his closet but he manages to fit it for surprise purposes.
