It was her first time meeting a fortune teller. She was raised with very doting parents who will do everything and anything just to give her the bestest of the best. She must not get fooled by the soothsayer, believing in its foolish fortune telling was nothing but a rough guess of one's future. But for Emma, it was more than a rough guess—it was destiny.
She was told that the man who will give her happiness is someone who's strong, gentleman, and a mature man. She has dated a lot of handsome, matured and strong looking men but no one can satisfy her, not until she met Professor Uzil. The perfect man for her.
She was not actually looking forward to the beginning of her college journey, but upon meeting the Professor, Emma couldn't help but to look forward to everyday. If only she could get her parents to request a weekend class, she would do it in a heartbeat just to be with the Professor, her man.
Emma could still recall her Mom's instruction to her when it comes to men, she must know them and do a better background check—and that's what she did. In order to know the Professor better, she hired a skilled private investigator and what she learned about him made her pity him.
The Professor lives in a very secluded province. At the age of 23 he was still living under his parents roof because he had nothing, not even a penny under his name. The salary he had as a former substitute teacher last year was sent straight to his parents, maybe to pay for their debts. He was exposed to manual and farm labor at a young age, which explains his rough and calloused hands and also his perfect natural tan and toned body. The hard labor at the farm shaped him to have a perfect body toned, matured, well-looking, and handsome man he is now.
And even after learning that the Professor was poorer than a rat, Emma's feelings intensified. Thinking that she could be the girl who can give him a better life and make him turn into a fine Prince.
Emma giggled at her last thought. She had been dreaming about her future life with the Professor and she'll do everything to make it happen. Even if it means she has to break and ruin the Professor's relationship with his unknown girlfriend. Although she already had the clue that his girlfriend was also a student at Al Saude University and with the same course as her.
Emma clicked her tongue. It's almost been a month since she saw the Professor with that girl yet she doesn't even have any clue who she really is. Even after asking all her seniors, Emma remained clueless.
"Maybe they really knew that woman and they're just protecting that bitch." Emma tsked at the thought.
With a vexed look, she puckered her lips in front of her vanity mirror to put on her lip tint.
There is only one way to know the Professor's girlfriend and to perfectly ruin their relationship. False rumors.
"Professor, I'm here!" She called as soon as she saw the late Professor.
"I'm sorry, I'm late."
Emma beamed sweetly. "It's fine. Ten minutes doesn't hurt. Let's order?"
The Professor just nodded. He's busy typing on his phone, again. Maybe he was texting his girlfriend?
Emma's face contorted in annoyance. She quickly took a glance at the woman two tables away from them, then mouthed 'ready'. It was her hired paparazzi to capture her and the Professor's sweet moments. She flashed her sweetest smile then held the Professor's hand to get his attention.
"Mind if you help me get our orders, Professor? Nahihiya po kasi ako."
The Professor looked at her for a few seconds then gently pulled his hands away from hers, it was the most frustrating feeling but it's fine. It was already captured.
