I Caught You Looking AU: Chapter Thirty

Aiden:

"WAKE UP YOU BITCH ASS HOE," Brynne yelled, snatching my blanket off of me and drawing the curtains open, revealing the harsh morning light.

I groaned and rolled over onto my face to block the sun. 

"BRYNNE! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" I screamed, voice muffled from the bedsheets under me. 

"NUMBER ONE, WE'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL," She shrieked back at me while shaking me, "ALSO, I HEARD YOU KISSED SHAH LAST NIGHT?? AND DIDN'T TELL ME?! I SWEAR TO GOD IF THIS IS TRUE AND YOU BREAK HER HEART AGAIN I'LL KILL YOU ACHA–"

I sat up immediately, blushing madly, remembering last night. "HOW'D YOU FIND OUT?!"

"SO YOU ACTUALLY DID?!"

"YES!"

She shoved me off the bed, still screaming in my face. "AIDEN!" 

Thud. 

"OW!!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" 

She slapped me and started scolding me for not telling her. I yelled back, and we continued to fight like little children. 

Mini barged through my bedroom door, Rudy trailing behind with a smirk playing across his face. The momentum of her push towards the light door made her fall face first on the floor, and she rolled over to look at me. Rudy gave her a hand and pulled her up, pecking her 'boo-boo' to make it feel better. 

"Thank you," She said to Rudy, before turning to me with a menacing finger pointing towards me, "SO IT'S TRUE!"

Rudy playfully punched my shoulder, cackling. "Nice one cuz, she's really flustered about it"

"HOW DO YOU BOTH KNOW TOO?!" 

"I'M HER BEST FRIEND, YOU NINCOMPOOP!" Mini screeched. 

"And I'm her boyfriend," Rudy said pointing towards her, "And future husband but who's keeping track?"

Mini turned towards him red as a beet. "RUDY! NOT NOW!"

The girls took two gigantic steps towards me and grabbed my shirt collar with terrifying looks on their faces. I have ptsd from the last time this happened. 

Mini whispered into my ear, Brynne right next to her agreeing to everything she said. "I swear to god, Aiden, if you hurt her I will break your ball–."

"OKAY!" Rudy yelled, pulling the two away from me, howling "Maybe let's not go that far.

I slowly walked out of the door, watching them all bicker without noticing that I was gone. I quickly got ready and ran downstairs, grabbing my bag and breakfast, not forgetting to kiss my mother goodbye and to tell her to have a good day. 

I rushed outside, shrugging my backpack on, trying to look for a silhouette in the distance that was walking to the school on her own, missing a certain someone to walk with her. After a few seconds of looking and not seeing Aru, I thought I'd lost hope and that she'd already walked off to school, shoulders sagging sadly, when I heard her door opening across the street. My head whipped in her direction and I watched her slip on her bag and shoes. 

Aru looked down at her phone, checking the time. "SHIT I'M LATE."

She pulled on her shoes, tripping over her shoe laces and almost falling. Her long hair flowed over her shoulders in a gorgeous mess, and she had two hair ties in her mouth because she couldn't hold them in her hands. She wore some simple low-rise black sweatpants and a black tight tank top. I noticed that my green jacket was also a part of her outfit, and I smiled. I walked over to her house and stood in front of her till she noticed me.
