3 short years

After 3 years I'm finally graduating from Hylia University! "Princess! Your graduating!" Impa yells running over to me right after I got in my gown

"I wont be if you keep me back!" I say and she smiles, Impa and Fi got together right after my birthday

"I just wanted to say good luck!" She says hugging me before running away

"Thank you Imp!" I say to her as she runs to her seat next to Link, I'm surprised that they haven't bitten each other's heads off by now, they haven't had the most...stable friendship

I wait until it's my turn before walking on the stage shaking my Fathers hand whilst taking the certificate "I'm very proud of you Zelda" he whispers to me with a smile

"WOOO ZELDA!!" Impa yelled and my father gave her a deathly look and she soon quiet down

I smile at him before walking off the stage and sitting next to the person I was next to in registration and turning the string to the other side of my hat

"Now we will hear from our student speaker Zelda Hyrule!" My Father says before sitting down and letting me have the mic

"We never thought this day would come. We prayed for its quick delivery, crossed days off our calendars, counted hours, minutes and seconds and now that it's here, I'm sorry it is, because it means leaving friends who inspire me and teachers who've been my mentors, so many people who've shaped my life, and my fellow students lives impermeably and forever."

"I have learnt so much in the 3 short years I was here, I learnt how to love" I say staring at Link "I learnt how to forgive but most of all I learnt what it was like to boost myself with coffee just so I can get my assignments in on time" I say and that earned me a few chuckles

"The first person I want to thank is my Father," I say turning around to look at him and then back at the mic "he has pushed me to be my greatest self and I thank you for that" I say "I would also like to thank Coach Urbosa! Can we all just take a minute to clap for coach Urbosa!" I say and the whole hall starts clapping for her including me

"You have been a second mum to me and I am so grateful i have you!" I say "oh and Impa you just got me drunk!" I say and half the hall started laughing and half the hall started gasping, oh no it's outrageous the fact that the principal's daughter drinks

"And Link, you have been there for me at every turn literally and I even fell on top of you four times" I say and he nods smiling at me "I love you! And thank you all" I say

"Thank you for listening to me and I hope you all have a good life" I say before exiting the stage and sitting back in my seat

"Thank you Miss Hyrule!" My father says before saying some non important stuff and letting us throw our hats in the air

After I throw my hat in the air I immediately run over to Link letting it fall anywhere "I'm so proud of you mon ange" he says kissing me on my cheek (my angel)

"Thank you!" I say with a wide grin

"I'm proud of you too Princess" Impa says hugging me

"And me!" Fi says and I bring her into our hug

"Thank you guys" I say squeezing them before letting them go, "Urbosa!" I say running over to her, she was a bit further along the row then the others

"I see Tania and Riju didn't get a thank you" she says with a laugh before hugging me

"They werent here soo..." I say with a sneaky smile "don't tell them" I say and she winks at me, Tania isn't at home anymore, she started a band with Ruvara and Kass and moved out then
