Zelda's pov
We were on our way to my father's and I noticed yet again that black car, but It cant get past the gates to the drive "you'll always keep me safe wont you?" I ask Link and he quickly glances at me
"Of course I will" he says as he drives into my parking space "Zel, I'd do anything to make sure your safe" he says placing a hand on my face
"I think i should stay here tonight," I whisper and I see his eyes widen in shock
"Oh, ok" he whispers
"I know you would keep me safe but father has security" I say quietly and he nods
"No, ye of course" he says looking at his hands "do you want me to come in with you or should i go home?"
"Come in" I say and he nods before getting out the car,
I open the large fancy doors of my fathers house before walking inside,
"Father? Are you home?" I call out for him, I wish we could have a normal relationship, I wish I could call him Dad without him judging me
"He's in his study Miss Hyrule" Mija says making her way over to me
"Mija!" I say hugging her "I haven't seen you in ages!" I say as she hugs me back
"I know! You never visit anymore and the last time you did I was off sick!" She says pulling away from our hug
"Are you okay now?" I ask and she nods
"How are you Link?" She asks and he simply nods, is he upset at me? He was worried about me being kidnapped and when I do something about it he's upset at me
"Well I should probably go see my father, it was lovely speaking to you Mija" I say walking away before realising Link isn't following me "Link...are you coming?" I ask and he quickly nods
Is he ignoring me or something? I knock on my fathers study before walking in "yes, Zelda?" He says in a cold voice
"I'm getting married father, with your blessing or without" I say I may as well get it out there now "I hope it will be with your blessing" I say quietly
"If your so sure your going to get married" father says walking in front of his desk and stopping in front of me "you have my blessing"
"Thank you father" I say smiling at him "may I ask that we stay here tonight?" I ask and he nods
"Why?" He asks walking back to his desk
"Well umm..." I wasn't going to tell him that I was being stalked "theres security here" I say and father looks at me through furrowed brows
"Why do you need security? Have you been threatened?" He asks and I shake my head
"Actually it doesn't matter, if your going to be like this we can just stay at Urbosa's" I say
"No, if you don't feel safe please stay here" he says, it didn't really sound as if he was offering and rather that he was begging
"Ok, thank you father" I say before exiting his study
"Shall I leave?" Link asks
