Sheik's pov
"I knew you would do this," I say to the pitiful excuse my sister calls a father
"I thought you were dead!" He says sitting in his chair
"You sent me to live with my Aunt!" I say tears rolling down my face
"You wanted to be a man so much well look at you now son your too weak to be a man in this world!" He says
"You did this to me!" I yell I need to be quiet, I don't want to upset Riju or wake Zelda
A knock comes from the door and Urbosa appears "Rhoam" she says and Father leaves, how many times has Urbosa had to do this?
"How are you?" She asks wiping away my tears
"I'm okay" I sniffle "I didn't even know Zelda existed," I say and Urbosa gives me a soft smile
"She's a strong woman, a lot has happened to her in her life," Urbosa says, that doesn't sound good
"In the short time I've known her, she's already been kidnapped and she's still going strong" I say with a short laugh
"She's just like your mother, she doesn't stand for any bullshit," Urbosa says
"She seems like a very strong person" I say and Urbosa picks up a picture of Zelda and mum
"Oh she is," she says brushing her thumb over Mums face "but I'm not here to talk about Zelda, I'm here to talk about you" she says and I smile at her
Link's pov
I was already awake when I felt Zelda's eyes staring at me "Are you enjoying the view?" I ask smiling at her, my eyes still closed
She places a kiss on my lips before letting her hands roam my chest "Very much" she whispers in my ear
"I think you would look prettier without that top off" I whisper back, theres a high chance that she doesn't even have a top on but I haven't opened my eyes yet
"You're just trying to get me to take my top off" she says in an amused tone and I smile at her she definitely doesn't have a top on
"No way!" I says with a laugh, and I feel her move closer to me
"Open your eyes" she whispers so i gently open my eyes to see her jade orbs staring into my blue ones
"Link" Fi called from outside the door
"Can we just pretend that we're not in" Zelda whisper and I thought about it before throwing on a top and going out to see her
"Whats up?" I ask and she pulls me away from Zelda's door "please don't kiss me" I say and she scrunches up her nose
"Ewww" she says with a disgusted face "You need to tell her the truth Link before it's too late, before someone else tells her" Fi says quickly
"The truth? Fi what are you going on about?" I ask, theres only one thing she could be talking about
"You remember when you told me that the whole reason you started dating Zelda was because someone dared you to sleep with her" she says and my heart drops and I nod "well Impa knows and she said if someone doesn't tell Zelda soon she will" Fi says and I sigh
"Ok I will" I say before walking back to Zelda's room
"Your finally back" Zelda says reaching out for me
"Yep" I say smiling at her, she's going to hate me isn't she
"Whats wrong?" She asks sitting up "your acting weird" she says and I sigh
"I need to talk to you" I say and I can see her get anxious
Zelda's pov
What is he going to say? "Okay" I whisper, is he going to break up with me?
"Zel remember when you came to my game to give me my hoodie back, well one of my teammates thought we were dating and I convinced him that we werent but he dared me to try and sleep with you" he says and I stare at him, okay thats not that bad I guess
"Originally I said no but after the game you came to the changing rooms, you kissed me, I took you hom--"
"Wait so this whole relationship was started by a dare" I say and he nods avoiding my eye contact, now I look back at it when I invited him in he did rush into asking to be my girlfriend
"Did you ever love me?" I ask and he immediately nods
"I love you so much Zel, when I left this room 3 years ago I realised that I want to spend the rest of my life with you" he says
"So if your teammate didn't tell you to try and sleep with me you wouldn't have kissed me or took me home, you wouldn't have asked me to be your girlfriend, you wouldn't have been rejected!" I say on the verge of tears
"No, none of that wouldve happened" he whispers and I take a deep breath "but it did Zel" he said walking over to the bed but I move away from him
"Imagine I told you that I started our relationship off of a whim!" I say crawling off of the bed
"It wasn't off a whim Zel!" He says
"No it was off of a dare!" I say before walking out of my room
"Zel please" he says and I hear him sigh when I leave
I really hope Impa's still here, I look down into my hands, how could he do this "Hey" Sheik says putting his hands on my shoulders "are you okay?" He asks looking into my tear stained eyes "whats wrong?"
"Oh it's nothing" I say wiping my tears away
"Come on" he says releasing my shoulders and turning around to take me somewhere
"Where are we going?" I ask and he smiles at me
"Where I used to go when everything got too much" he says pulling down a ladder before climbing up it and pressing a tile in the ceiling, I didn't even know this existed
"Woah" I whisper looking around the large room "I cant believe this was here all this time" I say
"Nobody knew except me" he says quickly dusting the chairs "sit down, no-one can hear us up here" he says "so whats up?" He asks and I sigh
"I just found out that my 3 year relationship started because of a dare" I say and Sheik's eyes widen
"What was the dare?" He asks
"One of Link's teammates dared him to try and get into my pants" I say with a sigh
"What a dirty pig!" He says and I shake my head
"Ganondorf is the pig not Link" I say hugging myself
"The person who kidnapped you?" He asks and I nod
"Zelda! Please can we just talk" Link calls for me and I stop breathing
"It's fine you can breath it's got noise cancelling padding around the room" he says pointing at the walls
"I should probably go talk to him" I say and Sheik shrugs
"You don't have to do anything until your ready" he says with a small smile
"If I don't talk to him now I think I'll go insane" I say returning his smile "thank you" I say as I climb down the ladders
