Zelda's pov
Present day
"So now that we're suspended we have nothing to do," I say resting my head on Link's shoulder as he plays with my hair
"Check your emails" he whispers in my ear and I reach over to get my phone
"Why?" I say as I unlock my phone I see a notification labelled 'Hylia University'
"I checked my phone when I went for a run earlier and I saw it" he says as I read the email
"wait we're not suspended?" I ask excitedly and he nods
"Whatever you told your Father last night worked" he says
"You heard the conversation?" I ask
"The whole parking lot heard your conversation"
"I said that we weren't together, maybe that's why he removed our suspension"
"You want to act like we're not together don't you" he says and I look up at him "your Fathers going to find out eventually" he says and I nod
"I know but can we just wait" I ask
"Okay" he says kissing my forehead "we should probably get dressed" he says and I nod
We get out of bed and I grab some professional clothes out of the wardrobe, I didn't take many clothes out of the wardrobe in the hope that I would come back
As I put on my blazer my phone starts ringing, I quickly walk over to the bed and answer it "I'm guessing your talk with lover boy went well since you didnt come back" Ganondorf says
"How did you get my number?" I ask, the few times I've communicated with him was through Instagram
"That doesn't matter" he says as I sit down on the bed
"It kinda does!" I say, I don't put my number anywhere on social media and I certainly didn't give it to him
"A mate gave it to me" he says as Link walks back in
"What mate of yours has my number?" I whisper before walking out of the room
"I see your boyfriends walked in" Ganondorf says with a laugh
"What happened to your girlfriend?" I ask genuinely "you do remember Hilda right?" I ask, that part was just to piss him off
"Of course I remember her, she was the bane of my existence, that girl never left me alone" he says
"Well I've got to go to work" I say
"I thought you got suspended?" He says
"It's been removed, so I can go anyway whilst I'm at work please lose my number" I say
"Sure thing princess"
"Don't call m--" I start to say but he hangs up and I sigh
"Who was that?" Link asks hugging me from behind, we cant start this relationship of with lies
"Ganon" I whisper "but I have a feeling you already knew that"
"Are you guys friends or something?" He asks
"No...maybe" I whisper "I don't know, but he offered me a place to stay and I'll always be thankful for that"
"We should go before we're late" he says and I nod,
"You go first" I say before picking up a coat and a scarf
"Oh right" he says before passing me a key and walking out
