After about half an hour of looking at dresses Impa got bored and put a movie on
It was quite a boring movie but Impa loved it and pointed out whenever something major happened
my attention started to drift and Instead, I just watched Link, I look up into his eyes, "your eyes are so pretty" I whispered and he smiles before looking down at me
"Are you even watching this?" he asks in a whisper and I shake my head
"I'm too busy," I say just above a whisper
"Doing what?" He asks quite amused
"Watching you" I whisper and he gives me a quick peck on my lips so Impa doesn't get the chance to tell us to get a room "Hey Imp, I'm getting really tired can we stay here for the night?" I ask and she nods not taking her attention off the screen
I silently stood up and pulled Link into Impa's spare room "Zel I need to tell you something" Link says quietly "and I need you to not get mad" he says
"Okay" I say cautiously
"Zel, I slept with someone" he says quietly
"What?" I say tears welling in my eyes, threatening to overspill "who was it?" I ask, my voice breaking
"Midna" he whispers
"What? She held a knife to my throat!" I say "and you've been giving me shit for not sleeping with Ruvara but you actually sleep with...you know what I don't care" I whisper moving away from him
"Zel please I'm sorry" he whispers
"When" I ask
"A few weeks before my graduation but we were drunk Zel, it was meaningless" he says and i turn to look at him with furrowed eyebrows
"She came to your game" I say and he nods "she spoke to me, was she just rubbing my face in it?" I ask as I sit up and he doesn't respond
"It was a drunk one nightstand Zel, it meant nothing" he says sitting up as well
"Oh how the tables have turned" I say turning to look at him "what will you next words be, please believe me?" I ask "you waited 2 weeks to tell me" I say with a sigh
"Zel I'm sorry, i just thought that i should be honest" he days and I lie back down with a sigh
"okay" I say turning away from him
"Thank you for not being mad"
"Im upset Link! You slept with someone behind my back" I say
"I'm really sorry"
"Lets just leave it in the past" I whisper
Why the he do that? I get that he was drunk but why didn't he come home. No, He went to her

"Whats up with you?" Impa asks watching me play with my food
"He slept with Midna" I whisper, Link was still asleep in the bedroom
"What? When?" She asks staring at the door
"Before his graduation," I say and she gasps
"What the fuck!" Impa says before running over to our room "I'm sorry but who do you think you are" Impa asks Link, waking up
"What?" he says rubbing his eyes
"You cheated on this gorgeous Goddess!" She says and he looks at me
"You told her then," he says and I avoid his eye contact
"Of course she told me" She says and he hides his face in his pillow "pussy" she whispers and he looks at her
"What did you just call me?" He asks with a fire in his eyes
"I called you a pussy" she says narrowing her eyes. Link gets out of bed, I can see where this is going
"Link don't" I say grabbing his arm "Imp can you give us some privacy?" I ask and she nods before giving Link a dirty look and leaving
"Why did you tell her? I thought we dropped it" he says
"She's my best friend, you confided in Fi when you thought I was sleeping with Ruvara!" I say
"Fi isn't unhinged!"
"Are you saying Impa's crazy?" I ask
"That's exactly what I'm saying"
"Get out," I say opening the door
"Can we please just put this past us? Like you said last night" He says and I sigh
"Yeah fine, I didn't expect Impa to do that it was just...I needed to talk about it" I whisper before walking out the room
I go through my contacts and call Midna hopefully she has the same number
It rings a few times but then picks up "Hello this is Midna," she says
"Hey it's Zelda"
"Oh Zelda, what can I do for you?"
"You can tell me why you slept with my fiancé"
"Look Zelda, we were both drunk we didn't know what we were doing one thing lead to another and we agreed to never speak on the matter again" she said,
"Right, its forgotten" I say putting on a fake smile even though she cant see me "so Midna, your in journalism right?" I ask
"Yes I am and your a professor at Hylia" she says
"Yes, so do you have a boyfriend or a girlfriend?" I ask
"No I don't"
"thats a shame, well Link proposed to me yesterday" I say and there is a dense silence between us and thats how I know she still loves him
"Oh" she says breaking the awkward silence "Congratulations" she says her voice more shy, not as confident as it was earlier
"Thanks" I say, sure it's salty to make her feel bad but I couldn't help it
"Well I've got to go" she says she sounds like she's about to cry "it was nice speaking to you" she says before hanging up
"Are we okay?" Link asks walking out of our room
"Of course we are" I say giving him a kiss on his cheek "I want to go to Urbosa's will you come with me?" I ask Link and he nods and we leave Impa's apartment
