"I'm really proud of you" I tell Link as he wraps his arms around my waist, cuddling up to me "it must've been hard to open up to me and I'm so pleased you did" I tell him, I couldn't see his expression since I was facing in a different direction
"I don't know where I would be without you Zel" he says "you saved not only me but my family and I cant thank you enough" he says burrowing his face in my neck
"I love you" I say
"I love you too" he says, if you told me all the things that happened, five months ago I would've never believed you but now that I look back at everything I feel like it's shaped me into being a better person
"I hope Aryll likes it over here" I say and Link lets out a small chuckle
"Don't worry, she loves it she's always dreamed of coming over here" he says
"We need to enrol her into Golden Goddess" I say and I can sense Link's confusion "it's my old secondary school" I tell him
"Oh, yes we do" he agrees "but now lets sleep" he says pulling me closer to him

Four months has passed and everything is going smoothly, Ms Kokiri is still living with my Father meanwhile Aryll is still with us but she is sorting out some living accommodation for her and Aryll
It's now the 2nd of March and my birthday has already passed making me 24! Link's birthday is tomorrow, March 3rd which happens to be the release date of his favourite game
"Hey angel" Link says as he enters my new lecture hall, he's been mixing my nickname between english and french lately he's been really tired because he's switching between a coach a parent and a bodyguard
Even though Fado is in the country, Aryll lives in our apartment and she's very high maintenance for an 11 year old,
Sometimes Riju comes to help, since theres only a 4 year age gap they get on quite well "hey" I say my eyes stuck on my papers as he kisses my head "you okay?" I ask and he nods
"I don't have any lessons until later so I thought I would sit in on your lecture make sure your safe" he says
"Link you don't need to do that! You've been doing this for the past four months and nothing has happened!" I say finally looking up from my papers
"I know but if they notice I'm not here anymore they might pounce and hurt you!" He says, it's only now that I realise the massive purple eye bags beneath his blue eyes
"Link, go home, get some sleep you look shattered hun" I say lifting my hand up to his face
"But--"
"No buts, I'll call Impa or Daruk" I say, Daruk has stepped up for us so much when Link told him about what happened with his home life
"Impa, surprisingly, has work and Daruk has a business to run" he protests
"Daruk has Yunobo to look after the business" I reassure him "and if need be he has Bludo" I say and Link gives me a reluctant look
"I don't want to leave you" he says
"I know, but your knackered and I'll have people around" I say
"Zel, being in the school isn't security, Ganondorf literally burnt down your last lecture hall!" He says and I stand up and start to guide him out of my room
"Go home, mon amour" I say kissing his cheek
"I don't--" Link starts to say before falling and I manage to cushion his head so it didn't get damaged
I slowly lift Link's head into my lap, this reminds me of the fire. We were in this exact position
Many people start to gather around me and Link but none of them are staff "Can we please give Mr Ordon some space!" I say "and can someone get Coach Urbosa or go ask for Dr Hyrule at his office" I say and a few of them nod "Quickly!" I yell
"your okay" I whisper brushing the hair from his face
It's his birthday tomorrow as well! "Zel" he whispers opening his eyes
"It's okay" I tell him gently caressing his hair, pushing back the tears, he isn't dead. What happened with the fire and what's happening now are two completely different things "you need sleep" I tell him
"I'm fine, I need to protect you" he says trying to get up
"You cant protect me if your fainting from exhaustion" I say "I'm taking you home"
"Zelda!" My father booms, and immediately the crowd disperses "whats happened?" He asks as Urbosa comes running down the corridor
"He fainted" I say talking as if he was still unconscious "he's too tired to function"
"Thats not the truth" he says and I raise my eyebrow at him
"Link, look at yourself" I say
"You need to go home" Urbosa says "I can handle the rest of the classes" she says and father nods
"I'll get you cover Zelda, go take him home" father says and I nod
"Can you stand?" I ask him
"I'm fine honestly" he says
"Link im taking you home" I say firmly and he nods before trying to stand up
Urbosa and Father help to stabilise him and then help me bring him to the car "I really appreciate that you want to protect me mon amour but you need to start prioritising yourself, your health is declining" I say when Urbosa had shut his door
"I'm sorry" he says
"It's okay, just get a good sleep, I'll go and pick Aryll up you don't have to worry about a thing" I tell him placing a kiss on his forehead before driving off
