"You can stay here until you sort things out with Link because you will, you always do" Impa says and I hear Fi sigh
"Imp can I talk to Zelda alone please" she says and Impa reluctantly nods before leaving the room but I knew she was listening in on the conversation
"Zelda I have nothing against you...but you and Link just aren't good together" she says
"You weren't saying that 3 years ago, you said I made him happy" I say
"Things change especially in 3 years" she says and I sigh
"I'm sorry Fi, I'm not going to break u--"
"He loves Saria!" She blurts out
"What?" I whisper "He...oh God" I whisper
"Thats who he was with" she says "look I'm sorry Zelda but I'm sure we both have Link's best interests at heart"she says and I fight back the tears "I really hope that theres no bad blood between us" she says and I shake my head
"No....no bad blood" I say my voice breaking "please excuse me" I say before running off into the guest room
"I'm sorry Zel" Imp says as I climb into the bed
"Please can you just leave me alone" I cry and she closes the door, I assumed she left but I felt the bed lower and her arm wrap around me
"Fi was out of order" she says
"I shouldnt blame him, he knows Saria better than me"
"Zel he remembers you, he's made new memories with you, he loves you!" She says
"Not according to your girlfriend" I say and I hear a knock at the door
Theres no way Link is here already, unless he bought a private jet or something, I wouldn't put it past him
"She's not here" I hear Fi say and Impa gets up
"I'll be back in a sec" she says and I nod
"What are you doing?" I hear Impa say "come on" she says and the door opens again
I pull the duvet up to my chin and hug myself tightly "I'm staying in the room unless Zelda asks me to leave" she says and I don't look up at her
"Zel?" I hear Link whisper walking up to the bed "can I talk to you?" He asks
"Why should I possibly hear you out?" I ask lifting my head
"Because I didn't sleep with her!" He says and my head starts to spin, what? "I don't care about her Zel! I care about you!" He yells
"I'm tired of feeling like I'm fucking crazy!" I say "I'm tired of people trying to break us up! And I'm tired of not being able to trust you!" I say,
"Why cant you trust me?" He asks sitting beside me
"If I went to a different country, hours away, and you hear me talking to a man and then he says 'if I knew you were dating him I would've never made a move on you' would you be jealous and lose trust" I ask and he stares in my eyes "exactly" I say "I'm sorry Link, I just...I hate the thought of you lying to me...you told me you were with Aryll when you were with that Saria girl" I say
"I'm sorry Zel" he says "I didn't want you to get upset" he says and I let out a small laugh
"You men are stupid" I say and he lifts his hand up to my hair "I would've have felt so much better if you just told me, who she was, if she kissed you" I say
"you look nice with short hair" he says throwing in a complement
"Thanks" I say holding the hand that he had lifted up "Link...what happened?" I ask
