He was just being Revali

"Zelda it's wonderful to see you!" Mipha says hugging me, before moving on to Link

"Hi," Revali says nodding to me

"Hello Revali, how have you been?" I say trying to make some sort of conversation with him

"Good, how are you?" His eyes focusing on what's going on between Link and Mipha

"Don't worry he won't do anything stupid" I say trying to ease his nerves

"He's the definition of stupid," he says as they come towards us

"So what do we owe this pleasure to?" Mipha asks and I smile at her

"We're engaged!" I say excitedly, the room was silent for a few seconds more than you expect

"Congratulations!" Mipha says with a large smile

"I'm surprised your still together" Revali says and Mipha hits his chest

"Revali!" She says before slipping her hand in his, I didn't tell Mipha this to make her feel self-conscious

"What we were all thinking it," he says  and Mipha gives him a 'shut up' look

"Would you like anything to drink?" She asks bringing the conversation away from Revali's statements

"No I'm okay thanks" I say quietly "Can I talk to you Revali?" I ask and he takes me into the kitchen

"What?" He asks, he wasn't being rude he was just being Revali

"You cant not be you for 5 minutes, you don't say congratulations you just comment on my relationship! If it wasn't for me you wouldn't be with her right now, so respectfully shut the fuck up!" I say in a calm tone, I don't want to shout it'll only attract attention

"Okay I'll stop" he says "Congratulations" he says with a forced smile

"I never said you had to smile" I say with a satisfied smile before walking into their living room

"You okay?" He asks as I sit down next to him,

"Yeah," I say placing my head on his shoulders

"I think this calls for some wine," Mipha says going into the kitchen and some white wine, Revali comes in close behind her carrying glasses

We drank that bottle and then we sent Link and Revali to get another bottle but then realised they would probably start a fight so I went with Revali

Link's pov

Zelda insisted that she went to get the wine instead of me, Mipha and Zelda drank most of the wine and most of us (all but Mipha) agreed that it was terrible so she went to get the one she liked

"So you're getting married" Mipha says tapping on the side of her empty wine glass

"Yep"

"When?"

"We haven't set a date," I say, I find myself to be the one fidgeting now "How are you and Revali?"

"Yeah, we're good" she says nodding at the same time "I'm glad you came" she said and I smile at her

"Me too," I say putting my arm around her "It feels like years since I saw you last"

"It's only been a month," she says with a small giggle before pausing "You know it's funny..." she says looking up at me "I always thought I would be the one to marry you" she says quietly

I stare into her golden orbs and she stares into mine, "to kiss you" she whispers, our faces gradually getting closer and closer "To love you" she says putting her dainty hand on my face
