I walk Epona over to Midna's apartment to go speak to her and Impa. I was about to knock on the door when I hear arguing but then the door opens and Impa stands in the door
She doesnt say anything straight away she simply hugs me "I'm sorry" she says "you were right as always" she says before crouching and hugging Epona
"Come to ours" I tell her and she nods and we leave together, it was quiet but it wasn't awkward "maybe I'm just unlovable" she says
"I love you"
"But not in that way"
"It's still love" I tell her "Epona loves you"
"Epona's a dog" she says looking at Epona as we walk back to my apartment
"Are you denying her love?" I ask and she whines as if she understands "see she loves you" I say "Riju and Tay love you, Urbosa loves you, Link tolerates you" I say and she laughs "you are loved Imp, you just have to find the right person" I say as we get to the apartment complex
"Can I stay here tonight I really don't want to go back to Midna's" she says
"Yeah, Link's gone to the pub with Tetra" I say opening the door to find Link and Tetra sitting on the couch staring at the blank tv screen
"Hey angel" Link says standing up and walking over to kiss me
"Hey love" I say suspiciously "watching nothing are we" I say wiping off pink lipstick off his lip, I don't wear lipstick "I'm telling you this once," I say to him "if you even kiss her Link we're going to have a problem" I say "Now I'm going to ignore that lipstick, but if I see anything that makes me think your having an affair you can kiss me goodbye" I say before kissing him
"Imp's staying with us tonight" I tell Link before taking Epona off the lead but she follows me anyway
"Seen sense?" Link asks her and she nods
"Oh and Imp don't get into a relationship with someone who has had history with Link" I tell her when I notice she was looking at Tetra
"Ok" she whispers "hows Riju and Tulin?" She asks
"They're so cute! She stayed at his house last Sunday" I tell her before sitting on Link's lap and she sits on the chair in the corner of the room "you've suddenly gone quiet" I say looking at Link "you can talk to her, just don't kiss her it's not that hard" I whisper with a small laugh
"Oh I forgot your incapable of doing that like all men you cant help yourself" I say with a sigh getting off his lap and taking out my cigs
"Zel! I can talk to a woman without getting the urge to kiss her" he says following me out onto the balcony and i turn to face him "unless it's you, I cant stop the urge to kiss you" he whispers before placing his lips on mine and I wrap my arms around his neck, an unlit cigarette still in my hand
"Impa" I hear Impa introduce herself to Tetra "I heard you pretended to be Zelda to lock Ganondorf up" she says and I pull away from Link
"Do you smoke Tetra?" I ask and she nods "do you want a cig?" I ask
"Sure I'll take one" she says walking out on the balcony with me
"Your dedicated to your job, going to prison for what 4 years to get dirt on one person"
"He was a horrible person"
"Trust me I know" I say lighting our cigarettes "he tormented me for years even when he was in prison" I say breathing out a puff of smoke
"That sounds horrible" she says,
"It was, I was in fear every night that he would come back to finish me off" I say
"Dragmire was a terrible person, he raped multiple women and attempted to kill both you and Link, he'll get life, plus he's already had an assault charge" she says
"Do you find joy in having affairs with married men?" I ask her
"I don't know what you mean?" She says with a small smile
"Well I doubt you were staring at a blank screen not saying anything the whole time" I say taking another puff of my cig "Link has told me about your history" I say
"Jealous type I see" she says
"I saw the lipstick" I say "the same lipstick your wearing now, well you see Tetra kissing a married man is called affair" I say
"I didn't kiss him" she says
"Explain the lipstick" I say and she laughs
"We were talking about the gang, I used to do the boys makeup well I was doing Link's makeup and he got embarrassed when he heard Epona in the hall he didn't want you to see him with a full face of makeup up on so he quickly rubbed it off" she says
"Are you being for real?" I ask and she nods "Link! You would rather me think you was having an affair than tell me you were wearing makeup"
"You were wearing makeup!" Impa laughs at him and Link goes red faced and covers it in his hands
"Tetra!" He yells and I laugh
"Hey I'm sorry, I guess I was just jealous" I say, pressing out my cig
"Nah it's no problem I'm the same" she says pressing out hers and we walk into the room
