"Where are you taking me?" A blindfolded Link asks

"You'll see" I say guiding him towards a big cherry blossom tree "we're almost there, oh watch out for that rock!" I say walking him up the hill

"How much longer am I going to be blind folded for?" He asks

"A few more seconds" I say before stopping him from walking "Ta-da!" I say pulling off his blind fold

"Oh Zel, this is beautiful" he says looking at the picnic area that Urbosa and Riju set up for me this morning

There was fairy lights and a massive blanket it was very picturesque

"Sit down!" I say excitedly putting down the picnic basket "you must excuse the food you know I'm not the best cook" I say and he smiles at me

"If it was made by you I bet it's wonderful" he says and I laugh

I open the basket and pass him a skewer full of meat and vegetables. He takes a bit before scrunching his nose up "never mind" he jests with a smile

"Hey!" I say gently hitting his arm

"I'm joking, it's lovely princess" he says kissing my cheek

"You don't have to lie, I know I'm a bad cook I just thought I'd try" I say lying beside him

"No it's amazing" he says as I rest my head against his shoulder "I loved that gift" he says kissing my head

"Did you? I didn't know if it would upset you" I say

"Why would it upset me?" He asks putting his arm around me

"I thought it would remind you about the way I was, I couldn't be seen with you because I was worried of my father but I should've just--" I say but I'm cut off by Link's sweet lips

"Stop worrying angel, theres nothing we can do to change the past, lets just enjoy the present" he says with a smile

"So wise" I say with a small laugh "how are you enjoying your birthday?" I ask and he smiles before pulling me onto his lap

"It's amazing" he whispers before kissing me

"Link...do you think there's something going on between our parents?" I ask him,

"I don't know but they do seem awfully close though" he says and I nod "why?"

"It doesn't matter I just wanted to know what you thought" I say and he smiles again

"Okay" he whispers

We stayed at that tree for hours until we had nothing else to do, some of the fire flies even looked like small fairies in the lighting

"I've had a really good time" he says kissing my cheek as I drove home

"Thats good" I say keeping my eyes on the road I don't want us to be in hospital on his birthday because I got distracted and crashed the car

"I think we should get married there" he says and my eyes widen "what? Have you changed your mind?" He asks and I vigorously shake my head

"No, No! It just caught me off guard thats all" I say sparing him a quick glance just as my phone starts to ring "can you get that please?" I ask and he nods

"Hello this is Zelda Hyrules phone" he says in a professional voice

"Ugh Link! What are you doing answering Zelda's phone?" I hear Aryll say
