"Where did you go?" Link asks as I walk back into our apartment
"Ravio's," I say picking up the coffee I made earlier
"Why?"
"To say thanks" I say drinking the coffee before grimacing
"Cold?" He asks and I nod with a scrunched up nose "Do you want me to heat it up for you?" He asks and I nod again, passing it over to him
"I hate cold coffee" I whine and I hear him chuckle
"I know you do love" he says putting my mug in the microwave
"Link" I whisper "Why didn't you tell me Hilda kissed you?" I ask and I watch his body tense up
Link's pov
I felt my stomach plummet when she asked that question "Oh, I just didn't think it was that important" I say rubbing the back of my neck
"Your doing it again" she whispers walking up behind me
"Doing what?" I ask quietly as I take her coffee out of the microwave
"Rubbing the back of your neck" she says taking my hand off of my neck "you do it when your nervous" she says, I don't know why I'm shocked she knows that, she is my fiancée after all "why are you nervous?" She asks
"I'm not I just feel bad" I say and now I can tell that she feels nervous
"Did something else happen that Ravio didn't tell me?" She asks her voice fully of insecurity and I turn around to face her
"No, no of course not" I reassure her and she study's my eyes "I just feel bad that I didn't tell you first" I say and I see her start to relax
"It's fine, but I just want you to tell me next time" she says and I wrap my arms around her
"Of course mon ange" I say bringing her into a hug (my angel)
"Can I have my coffee?" She whispers and i smile at her, and pass it to her
"What do you want to do today?" I ask again and she shrugs
"I want to go speak to my Father" she say and I nods as an ok
"Zel do you think he would hate me?"
"Why would he hate you?" She asks taking another sip of her coffee
"Because I proposed to you without his blessing"
"Well he was being irrational" she says "if anything I'm dragging you down" she says and I shake my head "I already have!" She says tears forming in her eyes
Zelda's pov
Link had a whole career! He was loved in his community and he loved football but he lost it because of me!
"You aren't dragging me down love" he says hugging me tightly
"But you had a whole football career and I ruined that" I say tears running down my face
"You didn't ruin it, that was down to me and Ganondorf" he says
"You wouldn't have had this conflict if I didn't let Ganondorf--"
