Another predicament

"Hey, does anyone know where (y/n) is? It's been almost a week since our internships and she still isn't back at school," Momo asked. The class had just finished their latest training exercise, which you had unfortunately missed.

School had been going on for quite a bit, and this was the first time you had been out for an entire week. "I texted her two days ago but she never answered. Do you think something happened to her?" Uraraka asked.

"We should probably have some people check on her, any volunteers?" Iida asked.

"Bakugo, why don't you go with me. You live pretty close to her and Aizawa gave me some homework to deliver to her!" Mina said enthusiastically.

"Sure," he said, with hesitation, of course. It was surprising to the others that he didn't outright protest. They should have expected it. In the past month, you had really grown on him, and he had to admit, there was a part of him that wanted to see you too, not too badly though. He still kind of hated you, but he kind of hated everyone.

"OK then, it's settled. Mina and Bakugo will visit (y/n), now let's get back to class."

--

"So, which way is it?"

"This way dumbass," Bakugo said, walking down the street. Mina adjusted the small stack of papers she had offered to give to you and followed Bakugo down the street.

"So, I know we all only kinda know each other so far, but do you guys have a thing for each other or-"

"Fuck. No. The only reason I decided to come along was so that you and the other extras in our class don't bug me. Plus I'm the only one who knows where this fucking idiot lives." Bakugo said, walking a few feet away from Mina.

"Oh really? Because in middle school they used to call me the match maker, and if you ever need any help, you can just call me and-"

"I don't need your damn help with anything, because her and I are never going to happen. I'd rather fucking die. We're here," he said, quickening his pace and running up the steps.

Mina tried to catch up as he took two steps at a time, not waiting a moment to reach your door. Or rather not waiting another moment to get away from that conversation. It didn't take long for him to reach your apartment.

Bakugo stood in front of it, waiting for Mina to catch up so he could open the door.

"Do you have a key?" she asked, panting a bit.

"Yeah."

Bakugo swung the door open, only to be bit in the ankle by the one and only Umi. Then, without a moment's hesitation, he was blowen back and nearly blown over the railing by a gust of wind, Mina having to grab his leg and bring him back over. Kousei stood in the doorway, hands on his hips and glaring at Katsuki.

"You're not allowed in my house you- oh, well hello there," Kousei reprimanded, but quickly turned his attention to Mina.

"Get out of the doorway worm, I need to talk to your sister."

Kousei couldn't fight back and Katsuki's hand wrapped around the top of his head and pushed him back. Your brother could shoot as much air as he wanted outside the house, but he knew that if he used his quirk inside, he would have much bigger problems than Katsuki.

Your apartment was messy and dark. It looked as if it hadn't seen the light of day in years. Dishes piled up at the sink, two full trash bags lay full at the door. The fridge door lay agape, along with various cabinets. It was like you hadn't been home in months.

A large cough and groan came from your room. Mina cleared a spot on the table and neatly set the papers down. Her and Katsuki walked down the hallway to where the noise had come from. Kousei still tried to pull on the taller boy's shirt, but he knew that the angry boy wouldn't leave without answers.
