The Exam

You nearly mastered your ability, got your license, and studied all weekend. Now, it was time for the exam. Both physical and written, you were prepared.

The first exam took place at 7:30 and lasted until noon. You were prepared for nearly everything the test threw at you. You knew there was no way you would get a 100%, but you would likely get a 90 at least.

Aizawa instructed your class to get dressed in your costumes. The girls complimented you on the new outfit as they hadn't gotten a chance to see it yet, even Mina who had seen it countless times on facetime when you ranted about the license exam.

In the boy's locker room, the mood was incredibly different. Over the weekend, Katsuki had gone on a rant about Junichiro to Kirishima, and accidentally let the big secret slip. He'd been confiding in Kirishima a lot recently given you were hanging out with Junichiro a lot, and he had a lot to talk about, so he'd subconsciously mentioned the secret, and didn't even notice until Kirishima needed to clarify.

Kirishima, the well-known loudmouth, messaged the boy class group chat about Katsuki's little crush. Not outright, he hinted that he had a big secret about Katsuki's crush, but in all honestly, who else could they had guessed. You were the one girl, other than Mina, who he talked to.

You would have thought he would be trying to beat everyone up as they tormented him about the news, but all he could do was sit on the bench, red-faced, and they reminded him how they would break the news to you if he tried anything.

"Come on man, it's not that bad, we all get crushes sometimes, I mean, Midoriya is totally crushing on Uraraka," Kirishima said while Midoriya protested, but it was obvious no one believed him. "And It's pretty clear Ojiro is crushing on Hagakure, I mean, she's defiantly hot," resulting in an uproar of protests and laughs from the other boys.

"Well, I don't know why you're talking shit. We all know that you're practically drooling over Mina," Katsuki scowled, punching the red-haired boy in the arm.

"I mean, you're not wrong, just tell me when you're ready for that double date," he laughed back. Although it was already a well-known, yet unspoken fact that Kirishima liked Mina, everyone giggled at the confession.

- At the test sight -

"Right, the test will begin shortly," Aizawa said amongst the line of teachers. "Obviously you can fail this test, so if you want to go to the forest lodge, we better not see any pitiful blunders."

"Why so many teachers?" Jiro asked, looking at the 8 that stood in front of you.

"I've no doubt you all learned what information you could about the test beforehand, so I think you already have a vague notion of what you are to do..."

"Sure, just like the entrance exam, it will be like a musou game only with robots!" Mina yelled. You silently laughed as she seemed to miss what you thought was obvious.

"Sorry, I'm afraid not! Due to various reasons, we're changing the contents of the test, starting today!" Nezu announced, popping out of Mr. Aizawas shirt. Your classmates, as well as yourself, were confused, maybe not for the same reasons, but still confused. "From now on we'll focus our tests more on person-on-person battle activities and emphasize a teaching environment close to that of a real battle, which, boys and girls, is to say that henceforth we will have you for pairs to engage in combat with one of these educators!"

"Our first group, Bakugo, and Tsuchiya, against-"

"Against me!" All Might exclaimed, hands on his hips in his normal heroic stance. (I realize Bakugo being paired with Midoriya makes more sense canonically and symbolically, but this isn't canon so...)
