Basic information to a character introduced in the next chapter, infromation is important for future chapters.

Name: Umito Oohashi

Quirk Name: Phaseward

Description: Phaseward is a unique quirk that grants its user the ability of permeability. The user can control the permeability of their own body, allowing them to pass through solid objects at will. This extraordinary ability is not only useful for evasion and stealth but also for creative problem-solving.

Mechanics:

Selective Permeability: The user can choose which parts of their body or objects they are carrying to make permeable. This control allows them to phase through obstacles without compromising their entire form.

Intangibility: When in a permeable state, the user becomes intangible, rendering them immune to physical attacks. They can pass through walls, floors, and other barriers effortlessly.

Ghostly Movement: While permeable, the user can move through the solid world with ease. This includes walking through doors without opening them, gliding through walls, or even traversing the ground beneath their feet.

Counter-Intangibility: The user can also make other objects or people temporarily intangible by touch. This aspect of the quirk can be used defensively to phase through incoming attacks or to assist allies in evasion.

Energy Transformation: The user can transform into an energy state while permeable, making them impervious to conventional damage. However, they must return to a solid state to interact with the physical world.

Drawbacks:

Limited Duration: The user can only maintain permeability for a certain duration before needing a cooldown period. Prolonged use may result in physical and mental fatigue.

Selective Vulnerability: While intangible, the user is susceptible to attacks from other individuals with quirks that can affect intangible forms.

Inability to Breathe: In a permeable state, the user cannot breathe as air passes through them. They must return to a solid state to resume normal bodily functions.

Overuse Risks: Excessive use of the quirk may lead to temporary loss of control over solidity, causing unintentional phasing through objects, or inability to activate quirk.

The boards will still creak, the leaves will still die
We ain't angry at you, love
We'll be waitin' for you, love"

Sarah's Place - Zach Bryan

Lights are on but nobody's home.
There ain't love like our love"

A/N: After reading Umito's chapters come back to this chapter and read the lyrics and the playlist will make sense. This OC has got to be one of my favorite parts of the story because he represents so much but I literally can't say another thing without foreshadowing.

Also, I AI generated what he'd look like. Kind of just like any other little boy, which is the intent because his personality it what's really supposed to make him special.
