They're Everywhere
Always a way in
But no way out.
I tried to get off the ground
But fell back down.
He looked at me and smiled
Saying "Just you wait"
I didn't want to wait awhile
So I ran, even though it was too late.
They are always there,
Always around.
I ran to where
My sanity could be found.
Yet there I got in so deep
With building piles around me
Burning flesh along with burning heat
There's no where else to be.
They're here
And they're there
And just so you know my dear
They're everywhere.
I'm never alone,
Eyes are never gone.
Seen all the things I've blown,
Seen all the things I've done.
I can't do a thing
Words that escape
Can come back, I can't sing
I guess it's just fate
I can run
I can't hide
I know what you've done
I know that you've lied.
So here I am,
Bruises and scars.
I don't give a damn
Took my heart from the jar.
