Dance
I never knew
That you were through
With all the stupid little things I do.
Took three chances twice
I rolled the fake dice
After you told me thrice,
I would lose my last chance
"Go ahead, continue the dance"
As you led me by your tender hand.
I took the lead
Watched you bleed
On the floor, you did nothing but grieve.
Now I'm alone, no one to hold
Your chances have never been bold
Then again I've never felt so cold.
You said I have no heart
No place to start
All over again, I just leave marks.
I watched you stroll
With your goals
Ignoring the holes
In your heart. I never knew
You would have grown
From all those chances I've blown.
