One sweet day
We'll greet, hand in hand
I'll smile and so will you
The last day of rain.
I'll see, all that I've lost
I'll want to cry, to scream
But that is gone.
So I still smile,
feeling the stars under my hand
I'll look over and say
"I've missed you"
The three I've longed to say
All these years.
You won't say a thing
Just squeeze my hand
Taking me back to the last day.
The blood is gone, you have no fears
No emptiness, not anymore
Youre happy, free.
Yet not alive
By then I won't be either
It won't even phase me, I won't even recall
my last thoughts.
You'll kiss my head
As I think of how different you look
Since that last memory.
One sweet day
I'll see you, all that I've missed
Then realize its all a dream
And wake up to hell.
