My mind was still reeling from what happened yesterday. Dominic had cornered me in the hallway and said something like he thought we were a thing? What was it he said? 'What about us?' What about us? There was no us. I had avoided him entirely since then, skipped breakfast, skipped lunch, and hid in my bedroom all day. But now I was at the bottom of the pool, hoping the water could help soothe my running thoughts.

The sensation of miniature bubbles tickling my face was oddly gratifying. But soon enough, a sharp pang in my chest demanded oxygen. I propelled myself from the depths, breaking the surface where I took in lungfuls of air. A glance at my watch revealed a 4 minute dive. Not my best time. My confusion over Dominics actions was throwing off my game.

"There you are!" Lily's voice shook me from my thoughts as she made her way out toward the pool. She put a towel on one of the patio chairs and then dove in, swimming towards me. "I feel like I haven't seen you all day. You've been hiding in your room."

"Sorry," I said, shame filling me. I couldn't bare to face her after what Dom did last night. I felt embarrassed, confused, and a little bit conflicted.

Behind her, Dominic was making his way out of the house in a speedo. My face immediately flushed red in a blush and Lily looked back to see her husband.

"You're wearing that?!" She cried out, sounding almost complaining. She turned back to me then, immediately apologizing. "Sorry Adam, he knows how much I hate speedos."

"Ask Adam, I'm sure even he will tell you that it makes a difference!" Dominic said as he got into the pool, swimming over to greet us.

I couldn't speak though, still uncomfortable after his behavior yesterday. I couldn't even look him in the eyes and I hoped Lily couldn't sense something off between us.

"I don't care if it makes you that much faster, they're ugly and assaulting to my baby brothers eyes." Lily said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"You don't like them either?" He made an exaggerated frown at me.

I glanced at them but didn't let my eyes linger too long. They were incredibly attractive on him, showing off his godlike physic even more than I had seen in my time here. And they did nothing to hide the massive bulge that was what I could only assume was a monster sized dick. I had no idea what Lily was complaining about but I couldn't admit to liking them.

"I'm not a fan of purple." I said, trying not to insult Dominic directly.

"I'll wear a different color next time then." He said with a wink and Lily rolled her eyes.

"I should cut them all up." She said.

"I wouldn't mind swimming naked. If fact, I like it." He shrugged, smirking at me. I quickly averted my gaze.

"Don't say that. There are young ears present." Lily scolded.

Dominic made an effort to look around the yard. "You mean your college student brother?"

Lily gave a curt nod but then burst out laughing at whatever offended expression I was making.

"Please save the skinny dipping for after I go to bed." I said, disgust clear on my face.

"Oh, we do." Dominic said and Lily blushed as if I caught her. She smacked her husbands chest, her cheeks as red as my own.

"I don't want to hear that." I grimaced and Lily quickly dove into the water from embarrassment.

Out of Lily's earshot, Dominic's gaze darkened slightly and he sounded almost accusatory, "Bet you want to skinny dip with that twerp from yesterday."

The humor in the conversation was immediately sapped out of the air. I stared at him, uncomfortable by the accusation. It wasn't true, of course. Despite Ryan's playful bromance, we had never seen each other naked, and I didn't want to see him naked.
