A/N: More updates to come soon!

As the sun began to set, Dom and I strolled through the vibrant streets of downtown, soaking in the lively atmosphere. Laughter and music filled the air as we headed in the direction of Lily's next event.

I was finally invited to one of Lily's gigs, and Dominic was ecstatic to have me along. Lily unfortunately got a ride with her band, leaving me and Dom alone together. Dom had grabbed my knee at one point during the drive, but I made sure to push his hand away, leaning my body towards the door and putting in my earbuds to drown him out. At least out in public I could rest assured knowing he wouldn't try to kiss me more.

After that night in the swimming pool when Dom revealed Lily's pregnancy, I had been avoiding both of them out of shame and guilt. But when Lily personally asked, or rather begged, me to come to her show tonight, I couldn't say no. I had hurt her enough, and I couldn't continue doing so by refusing to come to her show, as much as I wanted to avoid more time with Dominic.

Dominic looked unbothered as we made our way through the crowded street, a pleased smile on his lips like nothing could ruin his night. Eventually, we arrived at a bar with a flickering neon sign above the entrance. Rather than using the front door, though, Dominic steered me into the alleyway. At the back entrance, Lily was leaning against the door, patiently waiting.

"My boys!" Lily exclaimed, her eyes lighting up at the sight of us.

Dominic, ever the charmer, was quick to pull her into a swift kiss, his usual greeting. Lily melted in his arms, kissing him deeply before they separated. Stepping back, she swiftly adjusted her shirt.

"You look beautiful," Dominic complimented, his eyes scanning her body from head to toe.

"You look handsome," she replied, a giggle escaping her lips. Turning to me, she added, "Adam, when we go in, stay backstage. You can't be out where they're serving alcohol."

I nodded in understanding, and she opened the door, leading us into the backstage area. The backstage was abuzz with activity. It was filled with Lily's bandmates, who were busy setting up and getting ready for the performance. The air was electric with anticipation.

As we entered, their eyes lit up upon seeing Dominic. They greeted him with enthusiastic handshakes and bro hugs, their camaraderie evident. I couldn't help but feel out of place, like an outsider looking in, as I watched them all smiling and welcoming each other.

As their gazes turned to me, their expressions morphed into curiosity. I wondered if Lily had ever mentioned me, but their puzzled faces suggested otherwise.

"Why haven't we met you before?" A man inquired. I instantly felt unwelcome, and shifted uncomfortably, beginning to regret my choice to come.

"My little brother," Lily announced, pulling me into a tight hug. "The hermit of the family."

I could feel a blush creeping up my face at the title. That was just one reason I never met Lilys band. Being under the legal drinking age, I was often excluded from Lily's events, most of which were held at venues I couldn't enter. This was the first time she attempted to sneak me backstage, and I couldn't help but wonder if she got the devious idea from Dominic.

"Well, it's nice to finally meet you," the man said, extending his hand for a shake. "Thanks for coming."

I did my best to conceal my displeasure at the thought of touching the stranger, but I reluctantly took his hand and gave a nod. Behind the man, Dominic's intense gaze only added to my discomfort.

"Anyone want something to drink?" another band member offered, heading towards the door leading to the main area.

"I can't," Lily replied, and the others immediately started listing their drink preferences. A pang of sadness hit me, knowing the reason why Lily couldn't drink.
