Mahibhai reached Sanjeevani and asked the receptionist the way to Nandani's cabin. He reached outside the cabin and read out the name plate. It read out to be Dr.Nandani Manav Deshmukh. He caressed it with a proud smile and then knocked at the door. He entered after getting the permission. Nandani said without looking up.
Nan:- Kia get me the patients file. Dr.Shashank will return tomorrow so you contact Dr.Sid or Dr. Ishani for that and get me those files.
After getting reply she got irritated.
Nan(irritatedly):- For God sake Kia answer me.
She looked up in anger and saw Mahibhai standing there raising an eye brow. She immediately stood up in shock. Mahibhai chuckled at her reaction.
Mahibhai:- I don't think main itna dangerous hu.
Nan:- Bhai... aap yaha???
Mahibhai:- Ha kyu... Main tujhse Milne nahi aa sakta.
Nan:- No.. no ofcourse you can come...
Mahibhai:- Hmm... Breakfast Kiya???
Nandani just looked down and shaked her head.
Mahibhai:- Kyu??? Why so careless haa??? Surgery thi na?? Bina breakfast ke surgery karne gayi???
Nandani just nodded still looking down. Mahibhai just shaked his head in disbelief.
Mahibhai:- Any surgeries lined up for today???
Nan:- No... I was just checking on the files cuz Shashank uncle isn't here.
Mahibhai:- Can it wait???
Nan:- Ha... I can do it at home also.
Mahibhai:- Then wrap up. We are going.
He turned to go but was stopped by her.
Nan:- Bhai...
He looked at her and saw an unknown emotion in her eyes.
Nan:- I don't want to go home at this moment. Can we go to my apartment???
Mahibhai:- Jaha tera Mann kare bacha.
She nodded and started packing. Mahibhai left and waited in the car. After 5 mins she came and sat beside him. He started driving. She started the Google maps as Mahibhai didn't know the way.
Mahibhai:- Hmm... So apartment kaha hai???
Nan:- Bandra...
Mahibhai:- Bandra mein kyuu???
Nan:- Baba used to stay there during his initial days. I bought it and converted into an apartment.
Mahibhai:- Ohh... How was your day bacha???
Nan:- Acha tha bhai. Work makes my mind calm.
Mahibhai:- You know na kiddo that I am there???
Nandani nodded looking down, fidgeting with her fingers.
Mahibhai:- I know you are hurt.
She looked at him with misty eyes.
Mahibhai:- No crying kiddo... Let's talk about it once we reach the apartment.
For the whole time Nandani was looking out and Mahibhai was observing her every few minutes. They reached the apartment and settled on the couch. Mahibhai side hugged her and that's it she broke down.
Nan:- I didn't mean it bhai... I didn't mean to fight with him...
Mahibhai:- I know bacha... It's ok...
