Leap of a few weeks,
Nandani had taken Mahibhai to the scans and they came to know that he has to undergo a surgery for his knee. Mahibhai agreed on the terms that the surgery would be done after the IPL and Nandani would perform it. Though Nandani agreed, she still carried fear in her heart.
Nandani was pacing in her room worriedly when Manik came there. He shaked his head. He made her sit on the bed and say on his knees. She was looking at him with h uncertainty.
Man:- Jaan, why so worried??? We all know that you will be successful in doing Mahibhai's surgery. Have some faith in yourself baba.
Nan:- Mani, what if I go blank??? What if something goes wrong?? What if...
She started getting hyper. Manik shushed her and cupped her face.
Man:- You won't jaan you won't. Mahibhai will be alright. He trusts you with this Jaan. Now listen go get ready, we have to go to the temple.
She nodded and went to get ready. Manik went downstairs and saw others sitting in the living room.
Mahibhai:- Nandu kaha hai Manik???
Man:- She is getting ready. Aaj Tuesday hai so she wanted to visit Siddhivinayak temple.
Raj:- Par Manu what if some one captures you together???
Man:- Don't worry Dad She will go first and about security let her come I have something to talk.
Soon Nandani came down.
Nan:- Mani can we leave???
Man:- We can but I have something important to talk with everyone and you.
Nandani nodded asking him to continue.
Man:- Below our engagement post on Instagram there are some vulgar comments and even you are being followed by the paps everywhere and they keep asking you about it. Though you don't say that out loud we all know how disturbing it is. So I have decided to appoint a personal bodyguard for you.
Nan:- But Manik I have the security team na.
Man:- I know that love but you need one bodyguard so that he can be there and we all would be a bit less worried about your security.

Nandani sighed and nodded.
Man:- So let me introduce you to your new bodyguard.
They saw someone entering. The man looked in his early 30's.
Man:- Nandani did you recognise him???
Nandani shaked her head confused.
Bodyguard:- How are you una chica??? Your amigo missed you.
Nan:- John Gonzalez???
He nodded with a smile. Nandani moved forward and did a handshake.
Nan:- How is tio and Tia(uncle and aunty) ???
John:- They are great. What about Manav tio and Archana Tia?? And what about my little buddy. Since the day we moved out I missed all of you.
Nan:- Umm John actually... They passed away in an accident after you left for Argentina.
John:- I am sorry for your loss but how did you handle it girl??
