Chapter: Kitealla is Made Aware of the Royal Council's Request for the Elder Squad
Kitealla looked through her files containing information and statistics of her squad members. Once again breathing in a deep prideful sigh she admired the success of her serumOrb. Some of the abilities that have shown she couldn't have even attempted to imagine herself.
There was a knock on the door prompting her to quickly close and bury the files in the mess of her desk.
"Yes?" she questioned as she stood and approached the locked door.
"I request council with the Creator." Kitealla rushed to find a cloak and face cover of some sort and speedily donned them. She opened the door revealing the Keeper of Kingdom III.
"Sir." she gave a slight bow before ushering him inside.
"The Royal Council has requested the services of the Elder Squad." he wasted no time as the doors closed behind him.
"This seems like something that would come from Keeper II. why are you here, opening with such a statement, Keeper of Kingdom III?" Kitealla questioned in suspicion. Keeper III chuckled loudly knowing he had been caught.
"I am here to express my thoughts on the matter, if you would not mind, Creator."
"As if I am permitted to dismiss a Keeper," Kitealla rolled her eyes, "go on, sir."
"You did not intend for the squad to be at the beck and call of the Royal Council, did you? You had your own plans for the SerumOrb."
"Of course I did," Kitealla tsked, "but as a Scientist of the Kingdom II Research and Sciences Department my inventions are not my own to do with as I please." Kitealla paused thoughtfully, "Although, I would be lying if I said I was not curious on just where the Royal Council will end up with my SerumOrb's powers." The Keeper could feel the mischief in the Creator's voice.
"You do not believe the Royal Council's use of the SerumOrb will have a positive outcome?"
"You misheard me. But, I am sure they will be quite drastic."
"Are you prepared?"
"FOr what?"
"The use of your invention, your experiments?"
"I was prepared from the moment I realized it worked."
