Chapter: First Quest?
"Are you ready for this?" Two's (Luccii) low voice rumbled in the captain's ear.
"If it is anything like the simulated group quests or warrior training this will be a piece of cake." One (Serafin) smirked beneath her facemask. She looked over her shoulder at the twelve others running behind her.
"Remind me again why they couldn't give us a ship?" Four (Peggot) grumbled, annoyed with having to run for so long.
"The hunters reported being unable to see the hole from their ship before landing." One (Serafin) responded.
"What kind of Hunter Squad uses a ship?" Three (Kitealla) noted. One had to admit that detail had been strange to her as well. One (Serafin) glanced down at the GPS device strapped to her wrist. They were getting close.
"Watch your step!" she called out a warning, but it came too late for the owner of a panicked scream. The squad stopped in their tracks, attempting to assess their surroundings and situation.
"Twelve (Sage) must have fallen in!" Ten (AJ) called.
"Well let's find her so we can get in." One ordered. Everyone scrambled to business. In no time Five (Marigold) was able to locate the glow of a LightOrb peeking through a crack of an area of seemingly solid grass.
"Twelve, is that you?" One called down.
"Yes, but there is no sign of Hunters or GoblinBeasts in this area."
"Well, let's fall in." One stepped on the surrounding grass and it gave way as if it were made of tissue paper. She landed elegantly next to where Twelve (Sage) had placed her LightOrb, the rest of the squad not far behind.
They appeared to have fallen into a Glitter Moss Cave, drips of green from the ceiling sparkling in Twelve's light.
"Gremlin Beasts Live here?" Four (Peggot) questioned.
"That seems unlikely." Three (kitealla) mused.
"Highly!" Ten (AJ), "spouts off facts about Gremlin Beats preferred habitats. However, if they are placed somewhere they will stay and try to take over and make a life there. They are too afraid to venture beyond what they know."
"Odd." one looked for signs of tunnels or passageways, finding only the one in front of them, "we will have to carry on this way then." She pushed the group forward.
