Chapter: Sage asks Serafin about the files Part One

"I need to speak to Queen Des." Sage demanded standing defiantly against the Guard's outside the Queen's office door.

"Queen Des is busy at the moment." the Guard refused plainly

"I don't care. I demand to speak with my sister!" she stomped her foot. When the Guards again refused Sage shoved them from the way of the door making it through as they gaped at her strength.

"Sage?" Queen Des shooed the Guards away seeing the urgency in Princess Sage's face. The doors closed behind them and Sage rushed forward.

"I found these," she shoved the files into Serafin's hands, "Care to explain?" Serafin blinked at the research files her sister had just returned to her. Her mouth was dry with her own confusion.

"Sage, where-"

"Kingdom III Research and Sciences Department. The Keeper's office."

"He, he should not have these. Especially not the originals." Serafin mumbled.

"Why is your name on it? Why is HER name on it?" Sage choked.

"Obviously Kitealla was the Scientist and I was her assistant at the time." the Queen rolled her eyes registering her sister's anger.

"Obviously you have both lied to me. Are- do you have it?" Serafin narrowed her eyes at Sage knowing that her sweet innocent sister had the SerumOrb herself.

"Sage." Serafin shifted and pinched the bridge of her nose.

"You-" Sage's eyes widened in realization, "you let Kitealla test the SerumOrb on herself." her face scrunched in pain.

"I tried to stop her." Serafin lowered her eyes and voice in shame. Sage froze, this expression was foreign to her sister's face.

"I am sorry." she breathed, looking to the floor, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"It was not my secret to tell." Serafin recovered, shaking off the question, "I need to get these back to Kitealla. Surely they are already missed. Thank you, Twelve."
