"But you were attacked with me that night!" iris yelled through hot stinging tears, "How can this not be happening to you too?"
"They obviously didn't give him the serum." Sage laid a gentle hand on Iris's shoulder looking to Kitealla for help.
"Does Ten know?" Kitealla questioned.
"Yes. She was so mad at me, she, she just walked away. She worked so hard to warn me." Iris cried.
"She very clearly wanted you, the both of you, safe from all this. She'll be back to help you train." Kitealla noted.
"This is Aveniccii's doing, isn't it?" Peggot fumed from where he sat.
"We can't jump to conclusions. We can't even prove that he's guilty of any of this." Marigold grumbled.
"I'm sure he is," Peggot rolled his eyes, "ALl of it. The copycat serum, the extinction, the disappearing children, and the beast repopulation."
"Who else could infiltrate and impress the ROyal COuncil that much." Sage agreed in a whisper.
