The thing that we are always told when we are little is that heights are to be feared.
Never endured.
Always scared. We are suppose to be a little scared every now and then, but what they never tell us is how amazing it is to jump from a cliff and never look back because in that moment, you don't need to act.
There are no lies when you are thrown from a cliff wearing cable ties. All you can see are blue skies and if you are lucky you wake up early enough to see the sun rise.
There's no disguise. There's nothing to hide behind when you're currently falling from a cliff, only to bounce back up and live another day.
For me however, I have much more to say.
I don't feel the need to stay so when I leap from that mountain my soul will hit the trees and spill like a fountain and I'm already countin' the days I have left until I'll be out and-
Oh what's the use? I've got a short fuse and this mountain has been my only muse because I am a lonely woman whose sick of running.
So watch me jump instead.

Words.
PoetryThis is a book I write in to relieve my mind of the horror it creates for itself. Poems or not, they're words. Definitions or examples, they're words. My words. Read it or not, they're my words.
