Chapter 22- The Fresher's Party

I gasped as I felt his hand begin to descend down my body but he quickly drew back as we heard footsteps coming and I instantly missed his body pressed against mine.

" Katherine?" I heard Anna call. Thank God she came just right in time or else I had a feeling I would have been begging my boss to take me right here in the kitchen, I had no doubt he would gladly oblige.

" Over here," I said as she walked to me, she was holding a bag, from my side view I could notice my boss carrying something from the fridge, an apple juice? Yeah like he wasn't just thirsty for me right now.

He walked past us and his sister narrowed her eyes at him. Their relationship was just so cute, they were always fighting.

I now had my focus totally on Anna. I raised my brows in question, she just came in here called my name, and said nothing.

" So…" she drawled.

" Yes?"

" Okay. Okay. Okay. No more beating around the bush. I saw this lovely dress while shopping so I bought it for you, I remembered you have to attend the fresher's party tonight." My eyes were not tearing up, no they were not.

I wasn't one to reject a person's honest gift, I can't let someone have me in mind, and then when they give me a gift they poured so much love in I say no. That's not nice. Except I felt like I didn't deserve the gift.

" Oh My gosh…this is the nicest thing someone has ever done for me for the longest time, thank you for thinking about me," I said to her as she handed me the gift and I hugged her, she was an angel indeed.

" I couldn't even find anything to wear, this means so much to me."

" It's okay. Lemme go back to them before they miss me." She said referring to the guest they had. She returned back to meet their guest while I looked through my gift.

Hold up! I thought she said dress, there was a whole set, she got me shoes and even jewelry to go. I had to find a way to return this favor.

I dropped my gift aside and with a happy smile, I continued what I was doing.

When they had finished eating I cleared the table with the help of other maids and then we did the dishes. When I was done with what needed my attention, I hurriedly returned to my room, then I had a quick shower.

The dress Anna got me was so hot. It was a black dress that hugged my body very well and mind you it was short and also had a slit by the left side. I could kiss this girl.

I looked at myself in the mirror and couldn't help but smile, the dress fit so well. And the shoes, they were on fire. I finished dressing up and I took my small black bag to go with it. Everything was just perfect.

I curled my hair and left it down. The reflection staring at me was one of a supermodel. Why did I always have to look good even when I wasn't trying to? The perk of being the creator's favorite.

" How the hell did you get a supermodel to be your maid?" That was the first thing I heard as my feet hit the last stairs leading to the sitting room. I didn't even know they were still here.

I couldn't help but blush. The way this lady has been complimenting me since I met her is going to make my blood empty from my body to my face.

And now she made all eyes turn to me.

" I knew it." I heard Anna say as she jumped up and walked over to me.

" I knew this dress was going to be perfect on you, infact, everything looks good on you."

" Stop the flattery."

" I'm serious… It's not flattery, it's from my heart. Brother, am I wrong?" She turned to her brother who as I looked into his eyes I wished I had not. His eyes held so much passion I thought I might disappear into them. I quickly drew my eyes from him so nobody caught on to what I was feeling.

" Don't let us make you late," Anna said as she held my hand and walked me to the door. I felt eyes on me until I was out of the house.

" Have fun. And don't forget to use protection." I couldn't help but laugh.

" Yes mummy, as you have said," I said bye before walking off. She offered to tell one of the drivers to take me there but I refused the offer, I already had a taxi waiting outside.

When I got to the location of the party, it was parked with people. I could tell some weren't freshers, they were old students, especially the boys, who were looking for new innocent girls to ruin.

Most of them were flirting with me but I didn't even mind them. I saw an empty chair and decided to take a seat. I wasn't in the mood for dancing yet. Some guys came to offer me drinks but I turned them down. I've heard enough tales about young girls being drugged at parties like this.

I stood up from where I sat as I walked to the setup bar, and then I got a drink. Well, I could handle alcohol.

After about two shots I started feeling the buzz in my body, I was drunk. But I could feel my body come alive.

One of my favorite songs suddenly came up and I was on the dance floor before I could even make up my mind.

I moved my body to the music swaying my hips, I found a girl on the dance floor and we became dance buddies, that was until a guy took her away and then I was dancing alone.

Suddenly I felt arms go round my body and a voice whispered.

" Did you wear black to kill me? Because from the moment you stepped in here, you took my breath away."
