I fell through the cold and colorless void
All the way down
To cold and hard
Pine wood floor.
Begging and begging,
For what?
Well I'm not quite sure.
As long as I can remember
I have always wanted more.
The way the freedom lured me in
Was a way so sinful
I am not sure how I lived.
The way I fibbed
And all the stupid games I rigged
Just so I
Could get another chance
To win
This stupid game
In which I excepted to play
On a hasty whim.
