Love's Lost

My feet flutter off the dirt
As I breath in these lovely, heart soaked words.
Written between rights and wrongs
These letters in which written
Well before you were long gone.
This partchment in which you had drawn a world between work and play.
When we would sing and sway
These tired, shame filled days away.
When we dreamed of nights, and valley's,
Mountains, And all sorts of new
And wonderous heights.
We were free,
Or at least that's how we felt.
But that night
That treacherous light left your body, as your mind would melt.
We had spent the days swimming
Now all we do is wonder, what would have happened
Is you werent so afraid of winning.
