(Y/N) was an Adeptus. Now that there was peace, she spent her time tending to requests sent from the people of Liyue. Her life was simple now: no more wars, no more fighting, no losses.
And things could almost be considered boring, until one day she...

"Stop it."
Even when she said those words, she couldn't help but crack a smile at Childe's stupidity. She glanced at the time.
It's officially been a month since she started taking care of him. She's been tracking his health every single day. From the moment she wakes up on the couch, Mimi curled up on the small space beneath her arm, she gets up. She feeds the cat, gives her a pet or two, and then sneak into what used to be her room to check on her guest.
To be honest, she couldn't imagine how her routine would be without him anymore. Without seeing him snoring on her bed, sprawled out, the ginger locks that were once a mix of white returning to their natural colour a mess above his head, like a bird had come while he was asleep to build a nest upon his head. Without the smile he gives her the moment his eyes open, without the fact that there seemed to be a slight twinkle in his eye each time she enters the room.
He's usually asleep when she prepares breakfast and a glass of water, along with the bottle of pills that she recently restocked. He sometimes gets a random temperature, starts coughing, or gets nauseous, so her cupboard was full of different types of medicines and pills to ensure that the moment he got sick, she had the resources to eradicate it.
She'd wake him up when the breakfast was warm and fresh. He always seemed prepared to wake up, since one clear of her throat would send his eyes flying open. She'd help him sit up-these days she didn't need to, and he'd manage to sit up by himself- and feed him his breakfast. Even though she offered to variate the meals she made for him, he'd refuse and tell her he was content with the soup she made. She didn't know if he was being considerate or if he really did like her soup that much.
After that, she'd help him to the bathroom and wait outside for him to finish with his business. The first few times she had to do this was utterly embarrassing. She was scared he'd be unable to get up, and she'd have to walk in and help him up. She did have to do that, one time, but she was so tired from her day at work that she didn't really care. Childe had memorised the exact time and day that had happened, though, even if it was really humiliating. There was something domestic about it all that soothed him. Something homely. Something that told him that he belonged here, and he'd use that delusion again and again if it would mean he would be taken care of by (Y/N). A woman who didn't like him at first. A woman who shouldn't even like him now, and yet she's a ray of sunshine melting the ice in his life.
At first, he didn't want to rest. He had work to do, duties to fulfil, expectations to meet. But (Y/N) had strangely offered to complete those quests for him - which she still does. Every day, amongst her own duties and the requests she takes from Wangshu Inn, she helps the Fatui out too.
