When the sun was high in the sky, and she took a lunch break a bit earlier than usual, she bought herself some food to eat after the spar. She walked away from the city, holding the bag with her wrapped lunch tightly in her right hand. She followed the long curve of the path, passing by a few hills and large rocks. The Guili Plain's ruins came into view. Walking through the somehow standing arch, she observed the place. It hadn't changed at all. It looked as dead as she saw it the first time. This is where she had found the Fatui recruits she had extracted information from before killing them. Walking further into it, she realised just how abandoned this place truly was; the constructs were on the verge of falling apart, moss and vines growing over the bricks used. In the approximate middle of the ruin was steps leading to a small squarish shelter. The four pillars holding the roof up were close together, feeling rough to touch.

She looked around, not seeing anyone nearby. She then looked to the side and saw a group of men digging around the pillars. She sighed. Treasure Hoarders.

She didn't get many requests about them. They didn't really bother the people too much, knowing they would be caught and eliminated, unlike the hilichurls and abyssal creatures that don't have the brains to strategically plan their attacks. Treasure Hoarders weren't as dangerous either; they were more burglars than killers, so when they face a threat, they would rather flee than risk their lives. (Y/N) had witnessed their retreats herself. Whenever she had to deal with them, they would embarrassingly beg for mercy and flee when she gave them it by using makeshift bombs that released fog.

She sat down on the steps, bored. Where was that harbinger? Would he dare forget about a duel he had been anticipating for? Something she was wasting her time about. She should consider pretending she forgot about it and avoiding him for the rest of his stay in Liyue, but he was bound to find her and ensure he got that rematch. She might as well wait it out.

And then there he was. Her stomach had started rumbling, and she was eyeing her bag of lunch eagerly, but seeing his face helped her appetite go. He finally had some use.

"Forgive me for being late," Childe said, tipping his head in greeting. "Got held back in some business. Did I make you wait too long?"

"Yes, very," she spat.

"Did you show up at noon?" He leaned down, hands pocketed, a mischievous look in his eyes when she scoffed in response. "So, you were excited for this spar."

"You're jumping to conclusions," she said. "I want to get this over with. You told me the time and I showed up at it." She stood up, casually shrugging her shoulders. "You don't seem very excited. You did show up pretty late. Maybe we can spar another day, then."
