I stared at him for a minute and he moved closer to me slowly. I knew exactly what fell in the ball pit. "Are you going to say anything, Starlight?" He kept moving closer to me and I took another step back.

"This is what I imagined you'd be more like when I first met you, you know. But you were so..." my back hit the wall behind me and he cornered me. "I want to say that you were brave... but it was closer to stupidity."

I looked up at him, "Moony..." He paused, "Don't call me that." A smirk grew on my face, "You're still as cute as ever." He took a step back, "I told you already, I'm not cute!"

I burst into laughter and he just stared at me. "Shut up, Sun." I turned to him and my laughter faded. "Did you say..." He sighed, "He didn't even bother to tell you?" I shook my head, "Tell me what...?"

He smiled, "Don't you remember when Sun had told you that we used to be able to hear each other even before the... v thing?" I nodded, "So... you both can hear each other's thoughts again?" Moon grinned. "So can Sun hear us right now?" Moon nodded, "See and hear for as long as I let him."

I slowly circled him and inspected him. "What are you doing?" Moondrop asked me. "You look... different..." He chuckled, "They made changes to us both a bit after you left."

"Did you miss me when I left at all?" I stood in front of him and looked up. He stayed silent for a moment, "...No." I studied his face. I'm guessing that they changed their faces to have more expressions to play with the kids better. I could tell he was lying.

I nodded slowly, "Sureeeee you didn't miss me at all! Definitely. Totally." He glared at me, "Shut up." I shrugged, "I'm just saying that you didn't miss me! Except I do have to say, calling me Starlight? I know Sun has his nickname for me but you didn't seem like someone who gives nicknames to adults, I'm guessing you still see me as a child too."

Moondrop shook his head, "You were registered before I started doing naptime again. You left a week later so they never had the chance to upload your data to my scanners." That confused me, he didn't seem like one who is too fond of nicknames. So why give me a nickname as an adult?

"Then why did you give me the nickname as an adult?" He shrugged, "I didn't." Now that really confused me. "What do you mean?" He chuckled, "You forgot everything that happened here, didn't you? I used to call you Starlight when you were small." "But your scanners didn't see me as a daycare child—" "I don't call daycare children that."

I was silent for a moment "Wait, What?" He stared at me without emotion. It felt kinda creepy. "Then why do you—" "Don't worry about it." I just nodded slowly and grabbed my stuff. "Alright then... I'll see you tomorrow I guess for my first day of work"

I walked to the exit and turned to him, "See ya, Moon!" He smiled. It looked genuine, unlike the smile he had for probably years since the virus had been tamed. "See you tomorrow, Starlight." With that, I walked out of the daycare and headed to the Pizza Plex exit.
