Me and Sundrop were actually a really great team when it came to taking care of children. We put on a puppet show together, taught the kids how to make certain crafts, and more!

Yet after all that, I couldn't describe the feeling that I had when I heard the bell chime from a big clock on the wall. It was a horrible feeling. It was naptime.

Sundrop was still so smiley but I couldn't tell if it was just because he didn't want to seem scared in front of the kids or if he just genuinely didn't know. Did Moon not tell him?

I turned to Sundrop, trying to put on a smile that I doubt anyone would believe was real. "Hey Sunny...? Is Moon ready...?" Sun nodded slowly which made me worry, "He says he isn't feeling the best but yeah, he's ready."

I took a deep breath and turned the kids, "Okay everyone! Do we have a volunteer to turn off the lights?" I should've known that every kid would raise their hand. I looked around at them all and smiled bigger when I saw a specific little girl. "Amelia! Will you do the honors?"

Amelia excitedly stood up and headed to the light switch. She flicked it and all the kids watched in awe as Sun changed into to Moon. I turned to him and saw he wasn't smiling and instead was frozen.

I didn't know what to do so I just grabbed his hand. He glanced at me before smiling for the kids. "Hello everyone. You know the drill. Bedtime! Chop chop!" A few kids looked at him weird but the rest went and found a blanket and a good spot on the floor.

One of the kids yelled out, "Sing us a lullaby! But not a plain one! Sing one we haven't heard!" I heard a low growl coming from Moon and I squeezed his hand. I couldn't hear the growl anymore.

Moondrop sat down at the edge of the small stage that he and I were on. I sat down where I was. "If you insist... let's see..." He took a deep breath and started to sing.

"Sleep well... little children..." I felt like I recognized it. "Sleep nicely... little ones..." Wait a minute... "Boys and girls, of your age..."

"Will laugh and sing and play"

I slowly walked over to where Moon was sitting and he stared at me in shock as I sang the old lullaby with him. "So sleep well... little children... Sleep nicely, little ones... And when you wake up to this next day, I'll be here, yes, I'll stay..."

We both looked around and saw all the children asleep. I'm so glad that that was over with. Moondrop stood up, "I didn't know you could sing. I also didn't think you would remember that song..."

I couldn't help but laugh. It was funny that he assumed that I couldn't sing. Yet I did see why he didn't think I'd remember the song. "Hey Moony, do—" "don't call me that."

I sighed loudly, "You have a childish nickname for me so why can't I have one for you?" He didn't say anything or reply in any way, which was very annoying. "Well then... do you maybe want to talk for a bit? Maybe catch up a bit more? It would be a lot of—"

"Can't."

"Why not?"

"You know why."

"I don't."

"Yes, you do."

"No, I don't."

"You do."

"I don't.

Suddenly Moondrop stood up quickly, glaring at me. Shit... I could tell he was trying to resist the urge to yell because of the sleeping children. I grabbed his hand "Moon, it's oka—" He pulled his hand away with a disgusted look on his face and a small glitch in his eye.

I sighed and stood up, "I'm going to check on all the children. I walked down off the stage and it looked like he wanted to say something to me but he just stayed silent.

Naptime felt like it went by in 2 seconds. The kids started waking up. I stood back on the small stage and didn't see Moondrop. After a minute I saw him come out on the balcony and attach a wire to his back. He came down to the stage. He did not look happy.

"Wake up children! It's playtime!" The kids all cheered happily and a boy went to turn on the lights. As the lights turned on, I could see Moondrop staring at me. He didn't look mad though. The opposite really. He looked guilty.

It wasn't long before Sundrop was standing next to me. He smiled brightly. "Hello children! Are you ready for our next game?" The children all cheered.

Naptime: Success
