Chapter 37 - Put me down. Now.

   Moon smiled his normal slightly creepy smile. He seemed to be his regular self again. That's good. Suddenly he picked me up, bridal style. "Moon! What are you—?!" He shushed me, "Children. Sleeping."

He was right but he didn't have to shush me. He lifted into the air. He lifted into the AIR. "Moondrop!" I whispered. I don't think he liked me calling him that because when we reached his room he dropped me on a bed.

"What was that for?!" I yelled. He sat in a chair in the corner of the room. I realized that I've never been in their room since I was a kid.

When I looked around, I couldn't see much since it was pretty dark but there was one small light giving me enough light to see. I could make out the bed that I was on before realizing that the room was split in two.

One side was sun themed with bright colors and I could see many lights that were off and sun themed items spread out.

The other side was Moon themed with dark colors and a single desk lamp on the nightstand. That was my only light in the room currently.

I turned towards Moon who was still in the corner. "Couldn't you have brought me up here any other way?" He smirked and looked up at me. "I could've . But I didn't want to."

This animatronic is getting on my nerves. "Why did you bring me up here anyways?" He stood up and walked over to me, getting a bit too close, making me scoot back. "What? Are you scared suddenly?" He teased.

I shook my head quickly, "No. You're just really close..." Moon chuckled, "As I said, You're scared." He really wants to piss me off, doesn't he?! I moved closer and put a finger on his chest, pushing him softly. "Listen, whatever it is that I am, it's definitely not 'scared'"

His smile faded as he pushed me down on the bed, with me on my back. I froze, his smile returning. "Sure you aren't scared? Looks like you are now."

It was a moment before his smile disappeared again. "My scanners are telling me you're okay but your face is all red." He sat up...he was sitting on my legs...

Moon put a hand to my forehead, checking my temperature, "You're not hot, are you sure you're okay?" I nodded quickly, "Could I just ask one favor?"

He nodded. "Could you please get off of my legs...?" I swear I could see a small pink hue appear on his face. Then again, it was dark and I couldn't see shit. He got off of me and stood up, "Y-Yeah..."

Suddenly the lights turned on, blinding me. When I opened my eyes, Sundrop was in front of me. "O-Oh! Hello Sunshine! W-What are you doing here...?"
