Sundrop walked over to me and looked over my shoulder, "Almost done?" I nodded as I signed the last paper and stood up. "All done!" I walked over to the lady and gave her the papers and she scanned them through.

"You're all set! You can start as early as tomorrow!" She had said. I thanked her and left with Sun, heading back to the daycare.

Sundrop had to re-show me where the daycare was since I completely forgot. "Hopefully after the woman puts all my information into the system, your scanners will see me as an adult." I told Sun. "What do you mean?"

I chuckled and looked up at him, "Well... You said earlier that your scanners see me as 'Someone you knew long ago', which would be me as a child." Sundrop nodded, "Ah, yes! I still have all of the child information that I get when you sign your child up for the daycare! Like your birthday, your allergies, and other stuff too!"

I smiled at him but that smile slowly faded. "Hey, Sun... I feel like I'm forgetting something..." Sundrop looked around the room, "Oh... like what...?" I had to think about it for a moment. "I don't know... like I remember someone els—" "shh!" I looked up at Sun, confused. "Oh, Sorry! Continue!"

I nodded slowly, "Well, I feel like I'm forgetting a person or something... my memory is really foggy..." Sundrop smiled and his rays were spinning. "I think I know who you're talking about!" I smiled, "You do?"

He nodded and walked over to the light switch. "Wait a minute..." He turned the lights and I watched as they turned off row by row. I remember.

Moon stood in front of me and smiled. My face lit up as I ran to hug him. I could only reach his waist, seeing as he was 9 feet tall. He hugged me back. "How could I forget you, Moony?!" He hugged a little tighter, "It's nice to see you again."

I stepped back and looked up at him. The stars on his pants and outfit were glowing, so were his eyes. "I missed you so much..." He smiled again, "I..." My smile faded slightly, "Moon...?" He blinked, "Hm?"

I stared at him in silence for a moment. "You said 'I' and trailed off..." He frowned, "Oh, I'm sorry, I meant to say that I missed you too." I nodded slowly.

I guess Moon is still not like himself after all these years. "Play with me in the ball pit." He tilted his head slightly, "Play? Adults don't usually play, do they?" I chuckled and started running to the ball pit, "Come on!" He started to follow, confused.

Running in the dark was a bad idea. That's for sure. I almost immediately tripped on a toy and started heading for the ground. I don't know what happened to Moon in those few seconds while I tripped and started to fall, but something definitely changed.

Moon dashed for me and caught me right before I fell. I stood back up and stared at him, not saying a word. "Starlight...?" He suddenly stood up straight, "Oh dear! Are you okay?" I nodded slowly. "Maybe I'll just walk to the ball pit..."

Me and him both walked over and I jumped into the ball pit. He climbed in and I swam around in the ball pit balls. I hadn't had fun like this in a while. Moon mostly just stared at me as I swam around.

I grabbed one of the balls and smiled. I turned to face Moon and threw it at him. He stared at me confused, "What was that for?" I laughed, "I'm having fun! Throw one back!"

Moon slowly picked up one of the balls and threw it at me. I managed to dodge it. I threw another one at him and before you knew it, it was a full on ball pit ball battle.

After throwing a bunch of the balls at each other, I eventually managed to get behind him while being underneath the balls. I lifted my hand above the balls and threw one and it hit Moondrop on the back of his face plate.

I heard something drop into the ball pit but I couldn't tell what it was. I lifted myself out of the ball pit and checked the time on my phone. It was already 9 o clock. "Shit... I have to go..." I turned around to Moon who just stood there with his back turned to me.

I climbed out of the ball pit and went to grab

my stuff. I secretly had one more ball pit ball in my hand. I watched as Moon climbed out of the ball pit. He seemed a bit different though... a bit distracted...

I walked over to him and threw the ball at him and he looked up at me, "The fuck did you do that for?" My smile faded, "What did you say...?" He stared at me for a moment, "You heard me."

In that moment, a specific memory came back to me. It was my last day at the daycare. I was talking to Moon. I asked him why he seemed different. He told me that the virus would override his speech filters.

I took a step back away from him, "Moony...?" He grinned and it sent shivers down my spine. It was him. "Took you long enough to figure it out, Starlight."

Also, yes, my name that I go by online is Starlight/Star. BUT, I still really wanted to use the nicknames Sunshine and Starlight. I was originally going to try to find something else that was Star related like Starshine or Starbright but I liked starlight too much. I also go by Alex occasionally so... ye- >:)
