I grabbed my mini backpack with all the things I needed for a day at work and left for the Pizza Plex. When I opened the door, the lights were off and Moon was towering over me. "Hey... Moon..."

"Don't 'Hey' me." He sounded a bit bitter. "Sorry... I guess... what happened?" He pointed to something in the dark that I couldn't see from how far away it was. "I don't have supervision. You're gonna have to tell me what you're pointing to."

He scoffed, "The ball pit, idiot." I couldn't tell why he was upset. What did I do? "That's rude. What's wrong with the ball pit?" He rolled his eyes at me, "The device is gone and we can't get it back."

I was confused for a moment. "The device...?" Then it hit me. "Wait! You mean the one that stops the viru—" He covered my mouth. "We don't say that word here." Moondrop spoke with a stern voice. He was obviously angry, which was bad.

"Are we able to cancel naptime...?" He sighed, "If only. You'll just take over until you make a new device." I forced a laugh out, "you're joking, right? It's my first day. I also made that device when I was 10 with my dad who passed away a few years ago. I don't know how to make a new one."

He grabbed my arm, "I am NOT going to go back to the time where I never saw the kids anymore and only coming out during the night. Fix it." I quickly pulled my arm away, "don't know how." I repeated. He bent down to face level, "Fix it."

I scoffed and headed to the light switch. "See you at Naptime." He quickly turned to me, "Don't you dare—!" I flipped the switch and the lights turned on in rows.

Soon, in front of me was Sun. "Hey Sunny!" I called out. He smiled brightly, "Hello Sunshine! Will the kids be here soon?" I shrugged, "I dunno. You tell me."

I walked over to the security desk and Sun followed behind me before hugging me from behind. I quickly turned, startled, "What are you doing??" He let go, "Hugging you...?"

I nodded slowly, "Sorry... it just surprised me..." Sun apologized as well, "Would you like me to show you to your new room?" The room went silent, "Excuse me?"

Sundrop smiled, "Your new room!" I chuckled nervously, "I'm not living here, Sunny." He tilted his head in confusion, "But you do!" I shook my head. "You signed the contract stating that you work both day and night shifts, going home 4 days of your choosing a month." He told me. I really should have read that contract better.
