Chapter 21 - Naughty Girl

   I'm so sorry for the wait everyone! I ended up getting really busy! I was of course sick with a fever for a while and then still recovering during Christmas but then went to hang out with family for a bit where I didn't have time to write. I then had a sleepover after that so I hope you all enjoy this long awaited chapter!

Y/N's Perspective

I slowly crawled through the tubes, trying to make as little noise as possible. What have I done?! Moon's taunts were echoing.

I turned my head quickly as I heard a loud thud behind me. Moondrop was in the jungle gym with me. I started to crawl a bit faster. The hard plastic hurt my knees as I tried to escape.

I need to think. Should I leave the daycare and wait for a security guard to deal with this, or figure it out myself? What kind of question is that. Obviously I'm staying.

I managed to crawl to this 4 way tube. Straight, left, or right was the question that I currently had to answer. The thudding behind me was getting louder and I had to pick one quick.

Moon wasn't far at all but I finally managed to figure out a plan. I slowly crawled left and started to move through the tube. In the middle of crawling, I stopped and turned around carefully.

I took a ball pit ball that I found and threw it straight ahead, making a bunch of noise in the opposite direction that I went.

I sat and watched as Moondrop crawled out of the tube that I had been in originally. He turned right, just like I wanted him to. I slowly crawled up behind him.

I saw the device attached by the single wire. I slowly lifted myself up and got into a standing crouched position. I reached towards the wire slowly.

Suddenly, Moon's entire head turned to me. He grabbed my arm again but this time he pierced through my skin. A loud shriek came out of me. This is definitely the virus, I already knew that. But I completely forgot that it was so violent.

Moon chuckled, "NAUGHTY GIRL! NAUGHTY GIRL! Starlight..." Tears ran down my face. Pain coursed through me. "Moony..."

Moondrop let go. I looked up at him in surprise. He just stared at me. I used this chance to get behind him and click the other wire in.

He blinked a few times and turned to me. "Y/N...?" I quickly hid my arm. "Moon! It worked! The device worked!" Moon chuckled and went to hug me.

I moved away slightly, surprised he was trying to give me a hug even. "Let's get out of here first?" Moon nodded and picked me up and started to carry me out.

I knew he felt the blood drip onto him. "Y/N... Are you bleeding...?" Moon sounded a bit different. I didn't respond and just continued to hide my arm.

Moon carried me out of the jungle gym and placed me on one of the pillows in the old nap corner. "Show me your arm."

I slowly showed him my still bleeding arm. Moondrop stood up, "Why would you hide that?!" I chuckled as I watched the blood drip down. "I didn't want you to worry?"

Moon sighed and walked away to find some medical supplies. I smiled to myself. He'll finally be able to do naptime again. Though, something was different about Moondrop. He's Moon but... not my Moony.
