"Is that a hickey?" Someone asked. I turned and saw Raven already looking at my neck suspiciously. "No." I lied. "Then what is it?" She asked again. "None of your business." I answered, looking down at my paper. I was going to continue my worksheet in hopes she would leave me alone but it didn't work as she gasped dramatically. "Did Jaxx do it?" Raven interrogated. I didn't answer. "He did, didn't he?" I sighed. "I'm not telling you if he did or not." I replied. "Come on...I need drama in my life..." She whispered desperately. "You're just going to tell all of your friends." I predicted. "I don't have any friends. That's why I'm going to sit with you and Jaxx today." She countered. "Fine. He did. Are you happy now?" I answered. She gasped again. "What are you two talking about?" Our math teacher Ms. Windslow asked. My heart sank. I looked at Raven. "You answer." She commanded. "Stuff..." I muttered. "Like what?" My mind raced trying to think of something more family friendly. I looked around the gloomy classroom for an idea and said the first thing I dumbly thought of. "Death." I answered quickly. "Both of you see me after class." She demanded, turning back around to the chalkboard. I technically was being partially truthful. Before I could end school, the school would probably end me. A wad of paper hit the back of my head. I turned around and picked it up.
What was that about?
- Jaxx
I wrote him back.

I threw it to him. Our conversation ended as we continued doing school work and taking notes. The whole time my heart pounded against my chest thinking about Raven coming to our table, and telling Jaxx what I told her. So much I could barely concentrate. What if he breaks up with me...? What if he ignores me...? What if he hits me...? What if he kills me...? Oh shit shit shit SHIT SHIT SHIT- "What's the answer to B?" Mrs. Windslow asked. I jumped at her sudden voice. I looked down at my paper. I did every question but the one because I didn't know how to. Great. Just my luck. "Shit..." I vented. Raven kicked my foot under our desks. I turned to glare at her, but saw the answer to the question. "Negative 94." I answered. "Correct." I took a sigh of relief as I felt a weight get lifted off of my shoulders.
We got our final papers for the class. Of course I didn't know what the hell I was doing. Usual. When people started packing up and talking to their friends I shoved the paper in my backpack and gathered my stuff. "Do you always do that?" Raven asked. "Do what?" She looked at my backpack. "Yeah..." I muttered. "Are you too busy talking to Jaxx?" She questioned smugly. "No." I answered, about to walk away. The bell rang. We both dreadfully went to Mrs. Windslow's desk. "What were you guys talking about?"
