As the uncultured swine was about to grab my throat, Jaxx stopped him, grabbing his wrist, and digging his sharp claws into the showoff's skin. "I can handle him myself." He said flatly. As soon as he freed his arm, he quickly went to his seat. When the annoying demon left, he looked at me. "Where'd you get your attitude problem?" He questioned. "I'd ask you the same thing." I responded bitterly. My lack of sleep made me have more of an 'attitude' as Jaxx called it. I looked up at Mrs. Goldie, hoping she'd do something, but she was talking to some of the other students across the classroom. "Miss?" He asked. The overly joyed teacher looked at him. "Can Hayden and I go in the hall for a minute? We just need to talk." He asked in a threatening tone. Please say no- "Of course!!" She answered. Before I could do anything, maybe jump out a window or hide behind my chair, he grabbed my arm and roughly dragged me out the door as if I didn't know where it was.

As soon as we were out of view from anyone else, he pinned me against the wall. A loud thud could be heard when my back hit the shared wall between the classroom, and the hallway we were in. OW...There was no way she did not hear that. She probably didn't hear over her optimism, or was too scared to interfere. Paralyzed and afraid, I didn't even make a pathetic attempt to fight him. All I could do was pray to Satan I wouldn't die. His hands wrapped around my throat. "If you don't get your shit together by the time we step into that class, no one will ever see you again." He threatened, the whole time he spoke, he dragged his claws through my left arm. By the time he ended his sentence, the bloody scratch went from my shoulder, down to my knuckles through my shirt. The air stinging it made it worse. So worse that if Jaxx wasn't there, I'd start crying. I nodded weakly to his threat.

He released one hand from my throat. My relief vanished when he used it to punch me in my face. As he did, I felt a sharp pain below my knees. But then, he let me go. I dropped to the floor. "Tell the nurse it was an accident." He commanded. Before I could say anything, he walked back into class, leaving me in the hall to die. I dragged myself up, and tried to limp towards the end of the hall. But something made me fall almost immediately. I lifted my pants a little, and saw cuts and bruises all over my legs. Stupid Telekinesis... I gave up. For a minute I just sat on the floor trying to decide what to do.

That's when a girl came out of class. She gasped when she saw me. "Are you okay?" She questioned. I shook my head weakly. Thankfully, she helped me get to the nurse where I rested on one of the beds. I learned her name was Quinn.

"What happened to your arm?" She asked. "Jaxx..." I answered. "Ew. I hate him... Well I don't really. I just hate men all together..." Quinn commented. "Why?" I said curiously. "All the men I have met have underestimated me. Mainly my brother. He thinks I'm just some dumb whore. A year ago when I finally proved him wrong with a science project I had, he told my teacher I cheated on it and I got a 0. Ever since then my parents have acted more distant... I mean I do like some men, but only because they're hot. And it's not Jaxx. Too me at least. Most of the girls here are always talking about how 'handsome' he is, but I think it's just because he's so powerful." She explained. "Well I think you're smart..." I said. "That's what they all say..." Quinn commented, walking out.
