Instead of using the room I gave him to sit next to me, he decided to lay his head on my chest and cuddle up to me. Though he did, it seemed that he was just getting guiltier by the minute telling me about how horrible of a person he was. I got one of my folded up blankets off of the nightstand and gave it to him. "It's not your fault..." I comforted. "Really?" He questioned. "Of course it isn't." I reassured. "Are you sure...?" Jaxx asked. "Why are you so hard on yourself? Your dad is forcing you to go-" I started. "Because you deserve better than me." He interrupted. "Since when?" I questioned. "Since I let my dad hurt you..." Jaxx said quietly. I paused. Had he let it happen? I vaguely remembered hearing him try to tell his dad to stop hurting me- Someone knocked on the door before opening it. There we saw Raven who sighed as she saw us. "It's time for that date Jaxx." She reminded. "Do I have to...?" He asked. "You think I want to?" She snapped back. Jaxx looked up at me. "I'll be fine." I replied.
JAXX'S POV
I dragged my way out of Hayden's room and to our dorm to throw on better clothes. Then I went outside and forced myself to walk along with Raven into the parking lot where my father's dramatically expensive car was. We both climbed in with dread. "So...When are you two going to have kids?" Satan asked. "We're not even 18 yet." Raven stated. "Well when you're over the age of 10 it's never too early." He replied. I looked up at the glass roof with despair. My perverted father pulled up to a fancy looking restaurant. I glanced at the red glowing sign at its front.
Pentagram meals
Great. My night was off to a great start. My father wants me to make a kid with Raven, and now I was going to have to be seen in public with the both of them. The three of us climbed out, the only enthusiastic one being my dad. He got us set up at a table, telling the poor minimum wage waiter about how this was our first date. She just weakly nodded to everything he overshared. Poor lady. Then once we got our drinks, mine being a large, large glass of wine that I would need to tolerate tonight, and Raven's bottle of Spirit (Demon Realm's Sprite) until my father finally left. Once we were alone together, she immediately bombarded me with questions about Hayden and I. "Are you guys dating?" She asked. "I-" I got interrupted. "Have you guys even kissed? Or..." I zoned out. My only escape other than the wine bottle. "Are you even going to say something?" She challenged. "I would if you would stop rambling." I snapped. There was a pause in the conversation. "Fine. Are you guys dating?" She interrogated. "Yeah." I answered. "Ew..." Raven replied in a repulsed tone. "I hate romance." She continued. I sighed. "Then why on Satan's land are you here?" I asked. "Because your dad's scary." She admitted. It was about time we finally agreed on something.
