Chapter 33

Nang gabi ay dinala kami ni Oxford sa bahay ng parents niya para pormal na ipakilala sa mga kaanak niya. It's just a private dinner for all of the family members. They didn't throw a grand party just to announce the world that they had a grandson.

A private family dinner that withheld from public since they're one of the famous business people all over the world. I also liked their idea not to held such grand party for my son as I also wanted him to have a private living like for some normal kids.

Hindi na nakasama si Nanay dahil inatake siya ng rayuma niya. Hindi ko rin sana isasama si Nillie kaya lang ay pinilit ako ni ma'am Olga na isama ang bata dahil ayos lang naman sa kanila.

Binaba ko ang buhok, hindi ko na yun tinali pa para pantakip sa balikat ko. Nilagyan ko lang yun ng conditioner at scented oil para mabango at hindi din nagkakalat.

Wala akong panahon pa na pumunta sa salon dahil ang sabi ni Oxford ay ayos lang naman.

Hindi ko sila masyadong pinagtuusan ng pansin dahil nakatingin ako sa kabuuan ng bahay ng parents ni Oxford. Pagbaba namin sa Rolls Royce ay hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Nillie pero pumunta siya kay Oxford at doon nagpahawak.

"Nillie come here." I called but she shook her head.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Oxford sa ginawa ni Nillie. Si Kamp naman ay nasa akin. Parang baliktad, si Kamp dapat ang hahawakan ng Papa niya dahil ito ang tunay na anak. Para sakin ay nakakahiya lang sa ibang kamag-anak ni Oxford.

"It's okay, I got her." Oxford said as he lifted my daughter and hoisted her on his hip.

Sa nakita ko sa ginawa ni Oxford ay parang natural lang na gawin niya yun. I thought fatherhood suited him well. He's amazing taking care of my children, especially to Nillie. Parang totoo niyang anak ang bata. And Nillie grew more affectionate to him.

"Let's go meet the others. My father is growing impatient for the past minutes because he really wants to meet you guys." he stated.

It's not just Kamp they wanted to meet. They also wanted to meet me and Nillie.

I nodded and I catched my son's hand as we walked through the very grand stairs up to the grand porch. May maliit na chandelier na nakasabit sa may porch. Hindi ko maiwasang mamangha sa chandelier. Pati porch may chandelier na? Amazing.

"Good evening sir, hinihintay na po kayo ng parents niyo." sabi ng isang katulong na matandang babae, sigurado ako na mayordoma.

Malapad at matamis niya kaming nginitian.
